CHAP.2

CHAP.2 MALL INVITATION.

'5 minutes later'
I hear the doorbell, I opened the door and was surprised to see Lucas standing here.

"Oh, hey", is the first thing he says.

"Hi"

"My Dad told me to come over and greet our new neighbors, but I didn't know it was you".

"Awe, how sweet", I smiled

"Well, since I'm here, welcome to the neighbourhood".

"Thank you", I smiled again.

"You look cute when you smile". He spits out then widens his eyes.

I laugh at his expression "Thanks"

"Ok then, well I will see you around".

"See you around", I repeat and he walks off over to his house next door.

I close the door and head inside, I go straight up to my room and change in to some pajamas, basically a t-shirt and some shorts, and I lay in my comfortable bed. I open my phone and realize I have an unknown message.

Hello -Lucas

Hi -Sofia
Who is this? -Sofia

Hi I'm Luke nice to meet ya😏 -Lucas

How did you get my number? -Sofia

And with that he went offline and I locked off my phone to rest it down when a message comes in.

I have my ways😎 -Lucas

I rolled my eyes rest my phone on my nightstand and drift off to sleep.

A week later

I wake up with a slight headache, I groan but get up anyways, I head straight into the bathroom to brush my teeth and bath, I look in my closet and pick out a galaxy t-shirt and Jean's, then head downstairs.

When I arrive downstairs I see my dad on a bar stool drinking coffee.

"Morning", I say

"Hey pumkin"

"Where's mom", I asked.

"She's gonna be home late today and so will I", he checks his time and continues, "I have to go now so are you coming".

"No I'll walk", I say

He nods, gets up kisses my cheek and leaves, I huff out a breath, they are never home anymore.

I mix a bowl of cereal, after I was finished eating, I grabbed my bag and left.
As I was coming out of my house I heard a horn honk, I look up and see Luke in his Alexa car, sorry but that's all I know not really a big fan of cars.

He slows down "Wanna ride?", he smirks.

"Why?", I asked confused

"Can't I be a nice neighbour?", his smirk gets wider.

"Okkayyy", and I hop in the car and off we go.

"Seriously, why are you giving me a ride?"

"I don't know, guess I felt like it", he shrugs.

"But, what about what other people will think".

"I don't care what people think of me Sofi baby".

"Awe my own nickname, huh Lukie pooh", I smirk.

He turn to look at me, then turns back to the road.

"I actually like that name", he says as we pull up into the school.
He cuts off the engine.
"Well, let's go"

I look at the crowd of people and bite my lip nervously.

I gasped as he holds my hand, "I will be right beside you".

That's the problem.

We get out of the car and he enwtines our fingers together, I calm down at the touch of his soft skin.

When we walk into the school everyone was staring at us and whispering.

🔔Bell rings🔔

Its lunch time and I head to the cafeteria with Nichole, we've became very close friends.

"I have to find one of my teachers, I'll see you later okay, Sof".

"Okay, bye Nic".

We hug and she leaves.
I head into the cafeteria all alone feeling anxious, I've never been inside here without Nic. When I walk in I see students separated into their own groups.

I take a seat where Nic and I sat yesterday. A couple second later three girls head over to me, I hear people call them the HOT girls, H is for Heather, O is for Olivia and T is for Tarah, I also hear that they always where the same colour of clothing, and today their colour is blue and white.

"Heyy", Heather says as she approaches my table.

"Hi"

"Wanna come sit with us?", she asks.

I look over at the table they came from and it is full of football boys and cheerleaders. I look back at them.

"No, thank you".

"Ok", she says annoyed "why don't you meet us in the library after school", she says all cheerful.

"Why?"

"Because we want to be friends with you and we're actually going shopping so I thought I could invite you", she says with a big smile.

I look back at Olivia and Tarah, they are smiling as well, which is really starting to creep me out.

But I was stupid enough to say,
"Sure".

"Great, see ya then", she say and walks off with her minions behind her.

🔔Bell rings🔔

School is over and I head to my locker to grab a few books then go straight to the library.

I look all over the library but I do not see them, of course their not here, why would they want to hang out with me.

I walk out to the parking lot and see them waving at me to come over, I walk over to them.

"Hey, didn't see you in the library", I said a little upset.

"Oh, I'm soo sorry, we're not really big fans of books so, when we didn't see you so we left, but we waited here".

"Oh", I said not believing them.

"Shall we", Heather says gesturing towards the car.
