Kimberlee and her siblings were headed to the bus stop, with Alex running in the lead. As they were walking to the bus stop, they could already see other people waiting. They gathered by the other people and waited for the bus.

"Ugghhh...see Kim, this is why we come here early!"

"Well I was gonna get my clothes ready last night but-"

"But you were too busy being lazy or watching anime. Let me guess, was it Sailor Moon or Naruto?"

Kim sighed and looked to the side. Her brother knew her well. Too well. Meghan was standing beside the both of them. She rolled her eyes.

"Maybe both of you should stop talking?"

"Or you could shove it!"

People were looking staring at them. Kim was getting embarrassed. Alex does this almost every morning, being too loud around other people. He can't help it, but Kim wishes her brother could calm down sometimes. The bus could be seen from afar, Alex sticking his head from the sidewalk. He was almost in the road, until Kim pulled his shirt and dragged him back.

"I do not feel like dealing with you today."

Alex jerked away from Kim and rolled his eyes. As the bus pulled up, Kim handed Alex and Meghan their bus fare. They stepped on the bus and paid their fare to the bus driver. Alex rushes towards a seat and quickly sat down. Meghan sat next to him and Kim sat in the seat beside them. The bus started to move as soon as all the other passengers boarded.

Alex eagerly looked out of the window. Meghan took out her phone, her expression still unchanged. Kimberlee looked out the window, lost in thought. She was nervous about her first day back. She really didn't know what she was going to do for extracurricular activities, as she wasn't good at much.

"I just hope I don't get lost again like last year."

The bus was heading to another stop before school. The bus felt a bit hot as there were a lot of people on board. Kim didn't have anyone sitting next to her. She was saving it for her friend. The bus went over a bump and it shocked Meghan so bad that she dropped her phone. She bent down and picked it up and continued playing on it. The other passengers looked irritated.

The bus went past a vast field of corn. Kim continued to look out the window, still thinking.

"Maybe I should stop thinking about it. I shouldn't over think this."

"I'm a sophomore now! I shouldn't even be worried about this."

As the bus was reaching the upcoming bus stop, there were only two people standing there. As the bus came to a stop, the people came aboard. Kim looked up and recognized them. It was her best friend Angela and he brother Zach.

"HEY ZACH!"

The boy with the black hoodie on jumped as Alex shouted his name. He had a tired look on his face, and sat in the seat behind Alex and Meghan. Angela sat next to Kim, as Kim waved at her. Angela smiled happily. She was dressed really nice. Her brown curly hair was neatly done with an orange headband. Her chestnut brown eyes sparkled as she looked at Kim.

"So are you excited about today, Kim?"

"Not really..."

"Why's that?" Angela said, her expression saddened.

"Well..I'm afraid that my first day will be a disaster. Plus I don't know which club I could join."

Angela's expression changed, her facing looked puzzled. It took a few seconds, but then she gave Kim a reassuring smile.

"Well you're a sophomore now, Kim. There's nothing to worry about. You won't get lost like last year, I promise."

"Well what about clubs? There's not an art club this year, I think the recent club members graduated."

The bus hit another bump and it made Angela jump.

"W-Well why don't you join the Water Majors. I'm sure your water powers have go-"

Kim shook her head. "No no...they haven't. Not one bit. I'm still not good enough."

Well that's the purpose of joining them! To get better. You've got potential, Kim."

Kim looked unsure. She didn't want to join the team and drag everyone else down. She didn't want to feel inferior to anyone like she did with her siblings. She wanted to do something only she was good at. Something she could shine at.

"Kimberlee if you're still unsure then let me at least tell you that the leader is a nice guy and is willing to help you get better."

Kim perked up. "Oh really?"

"Yeah his name is Austin Bucks. He's a real chill guy."

The bus was heading for a stop ahead. Kim could see the school from afar and she got a deep pit in her stomach. She was scared, but she wanted to make this day the best she can!
