One Year Later

"If the shipment doesn't arrive by tonight. I'll hold you responsible." Aiden said ending the call.He had gained tentative control over the East end in only a years time. A fact due mostly to his silent bodyguard. While most bosses including his father had twelve to watch their back he only had her. Initially, such show of indifference to his safety made him seem amateur. But, When their lackeys body's were returned ripped to shreds after a failed attempt to kill him,  they got the idea and treated him with respect. No one could touch him.
One of Aiden's men entered his office, bowing slightly, and began the daily report. Sierra rose from the velvet couch on his right to stand behind his right shoulder; ready to strike if needed. She never spoke with any of the other humans despite their many advances. She wore slim black slacks and a white button down blouse, the sleeve rolled up behind her elbows. The collar opened to show the arch of her collarbone. Aiden gripped the bridge of his nose, distracted by her, and  returned his focused back on the report. It was bad enough she insisted on following him everywhere. Even sleeping wolf form at the end of his bed. Stating the heighten senses helped alert her to danger even in sleep.

Aiden sighed as the man finished the report exiting with straying glances in Sierras direction. At least I'm not the only one affected, he thought. "Hungry?" He asked she tilted her head towards him a feral grin envolping her face.
"Always." He paused reminded once again she could rip him apart if it please her. The back of her hand lightly touch his forehead. He froze and stared up at her concerned gaze. "Are you aright young one? You look ill."she asked.

"Yes, so stop fussing." He said trying to regain his composure. But, to his great displeasure she responded by ruffling his hair.

Five Hours Later

Blood splattered her face and arms, her white hair caked in dried blood. She entered the penthouse slowly. Each step deliberate as she made her way to the bath. Aiden turn a corner with his advisor looking up from a report. When his eyes landed on her he stopped, multiple emotions flitted across his face sadness. regret. anger. She froze bracing herself for the upcoming lecture. The anger won out as he shoved the clipboard into his advisor's chest and marched towards her.

"Marcus, go to the meeting with Wells,  In my stead. Focus on the system of exchange to sell the deal." He said his stormy blue eyes never deviating from hers. She opened her mouth to protest her case but he didn't give her a chance. In one fluid motion He'd swept her into his arms and continued walking to the bath.

He had a bath that spanned the length of the room like an indoor pool. He walked straight in fully clothed with her in him arms. She gasped as he dropped her into the water with a splash. He proceeded to scrub her white hair clean without a word. She kept her silence waiting out his frustrations. When he started to tug at her blood stained shirt however she protested. "I can wash myself." she growled.
Undeterred he glared down his nose at her his dark blue eyes frigid in cold anger. Then he signed, the tension leaving his face. "What am I going to do with you?" He said his wet hand raking fingers through his hair. She didn't reply just sat in the hot water looking away from his searching gaze. He knelt down beside her. she felt his strong fingers gently grip her chin making her meet his gaze. "It was the Trizo's gang in the south district. They were planning your assasination." She said ending the sentence quietly. "So instead of telling me and letting me plan a response. You decided to take on the whole south quarter gang?" He asked with a smirk.  "There were only thirty eight of them." She grumbled like a petulant child. For a wolf that live for eternity she sure had her childish moments he mused. He shook his head and signed pulling her into his lap. Her small form nestled against his chest. He stroked her hair slowly as he spoke. "You can't be so quick to act." He said. She pulled away in reproach. "They were going to kill you. I am bound to protect you." She said slowly as if he was five. "Yes, However, every action has consequences." He said, "What if the other districts retaliate in light of a seemingly unprovoked attack. My hold over the East side, while growing, is still tentative." She attitude deflated and she heaved a sign.
" I've become reckless in old age." She said tilting her head back against his chest to look up at him. Aiden didn't miss the sight of her exposed throat; a sign of alliegence to him.

"I'll take care of it" he said. They stayed there until he coughed slightly. "It might be best if you finished this bath alone." She looked up to see his gaze locked on the ceiling. Her eyebrows scrunched in confusion until she looked down to see her white shirt had become completely see through. She rolled her eyes at her humans bashfulness and dove into the pool. Aiden shook his head and left without another word.
