Eun-Soo's POV

"You wanted to see me, dad?" I said as I walked into his office and sat down in the chair in front of his desk.

"Yes, I have something very important to talk to you about." He said seriously crossing his hands in front of him.

"And it couldn't wait?" I asked almost rudely. What could he possibly want to tell me that had to be told to be right away? Nothing comes to mind. We don't talk as much anymore. Not since mom died.

"No, it's urgent." He said and sighed. He massaged his head like a headache was forming.

"What is it?" I asked leaning back in my chair and crossing my arms. Could he just hurry and tell me?

"Well, you know how I've been having some problems with business because of that other company, right?" He asked looking to me for a reply.

"Yes. And?" I said.

"Well, we've decided to join our companies together." He answered.

"But what does that have to do with me?" I asked impatiently. Could he waste any more of my time?

"Such an impatient little child." He mumbled. "I was getting to that part. Well, we've decided together that our first borns should get married to each other." He said.

"WHAT?!" I exclaimed standing up almost knocking the chair over. Is he being serious?

"Don't yell and sit back down." He said and I sat back down warily. "I know you might not like this, but it has to happen in order for our companies to join and become successful. It will be all over the news which is good for business." He said.

"Why? I don't want to get married to some random dude." I said. Does he expect me to just comply to marrying a random person? Someone I don't know?

"It's going to happen whether you like it or not." He said strictly.

"Dad, how could you do this to me?" I asked about to cry. I wish mom were here. She would have never let this happen.

"Its for the best and you deserve this. All the things you've been doing since your mother died. I think this marriage will do you some good." He says and presses a buzzer next to his desk. "Chi-Yon, send them in." He says into the buzzer. Two men walk into the office, one looking older than the other and the other looking around my age.

Oh god, don't tell me he's the one I'm marrying.

"Hello, Mr.Kim. This is Eun-Soo, my daughter and the one Namjoon will be marrying." My father says smiling to the older looking man. How could he happy about ruining my life?

"Ah, nice to meet you, Eun-Soo. Hopefully you and my son have a great marriage." He says shaking my hand. I shake his back with a fake smile trying not to show my distraughtness.

"Namjoon, Eun-Soo, we'll be outside. You two might want to properly introduce yourselves to each other while we talk." My father says as they both walk out.

After they leave, we sit in silence, me not knowing how to go about this marriage thing and him, well I don't know what he's thinking.

"Just so you know, I don't like this just as much as you do. I'm only doing this for my father." Namjoon says breaking the silence and tension.
