"You cannot quit."
With those words the cute receptionist did not seem cute anymore.
"You signed all those papers yesterday. You have to do a full time throughout the summer and part time for the rest of the year. There's no quitting."
Great, I'm stuck here.
First day of planning schedules seems easy. The boys all start coming in from eight in the morning except for the one troublemaker of course.
"Hey, you okay today?" Jimin's familiar vanilla scent envelopes me in just a moment, hugging me in a mellow feeling of softness. The stawberries from his breakfast left a pretty tint on his luscious lips, I cannot help but stare at the beautiful human being.
"I'm doing okay, Jimin. Go to the practice room and join others, your choreographer is waiting." He gives me his precious angelic eye smile and takes small steps towards the room as I stand outside waiting for the problematic maknae to arrive.
The sun beams dazzle through the crystal windows, the warmth of which brings a welcoming sensation. Pictures of my life start playing in front of my eyes like an old video tape, a school I never enjoyed going to, friends who always thought of me as a loser, a boy who played me like a stupid game. My heart aches at the thought of my highschool days, life was so cruel to me, he was so cruel to me.
I get snapped back to reality as the maknae shows up. His hair is brushed back today. He smells like fresh shower and a "J" letter pendant dangles on his plain white tshirt.
"Sign here and join the others for practice." I speak to the boy with no emotion.
"Tsk." he hisses. The only thing different about him today is his appearance I guess, that arrogance is still there quite vivid.
"Sign and leave." I hold out the paper along with the clip board for him to sign and not to my surprise he flicks it over.
"I don't need to sign that. What is this? School? Why do I have to give an attendance? "
My rage that was tangled in a cage yesterday gets loose. This boy truly deserves no kindness from me.
"I won't sign that stupid pape-" I grab him by the wrist and pin him against the wall. My sudden strength grabs the guy by total surprise as his murky pupils enlarge and his tiny mouth opens a bit to gasp.
"Listen, you piece of shit. I'm only here to do my job and NOT to deal with your shitty attitude, so drop that right now. Don't make me report this behavior to pd nim." My grip around his pale wrists tighten as I continue.
"Give this bullshit to someone who is willing to deal with it. Now sign the papers and leave for your practice, I don't have all day."
I push Jeongguk away as he cannot seem to fanthom what just happened. He is unable to remove the look of surprise from his face. I trained to be a professional boxer over half of life, who does he think he can beat over strength. I kept quiet yesterday because I did not wish to come off rude, but Jeon doesn't seem to be a nice piece either.
His raven eyes are still fixed at my stern face, looks like he never got this treatment before. Red, his face is turning red. Either he is super mad or super embaressed. He opens his mouth to speak, but we get interrupted by Namjoon.
"Jeongguk? Why aren't you coming in? Hurry up everyone is waiting for you."
The raven head grabs the piece of paper from the floor and quickly draws his signature. Namjoon motions him to walk fast and he makes his way pass me.
"I'll deal with you later," he mumbles.
4 hours later
The boys walk out all sweaty and breathing heavily. I hand them out their scripts for the latest bts run episode.
"Well done, guys! I hope your new choreo is loved by the armys. Fighting!" Yoongi smiles and ruffles my hair at my comment.
"You're kinda cheesy Y/N. It's cute." My round cheeks turn pink to his words as the boys continue teasing me. Everyone is smiling except for Jeongguk, he looks out the window in another direction away from me.
I really wonder what goes on in his mind.
"Do you have time tonight?" The mochi makes his way through me after the boys leave to get freshen up.
Did he just ask me out for a date?
No no. It is probably just as a friend, just a hangout, but even the thought of it makes my mind go all crazy with excitement. Spending time with Jimin? Yes, please, I would love that.
"Yes." I simply put with a smile.
He smiles back me, but his is brighter, more lively and just prettier.
"I cannot wait for it, Y/N. I want to get to know you more, and also," he pauses to look at the boy staring out the window, lost in his own thoughts as he continues to speak.
"I have a lot to let you know about Jeongguk."
