Persephone

Spring is the time of new beginnings. Spring is ruled by the ancient greek goddess Persephone, daughter of Demeter and Zeus, and wife of Hades. Spring time was the time Persephone could spend with her mother freely, but when the season of fall and winter rolled around, it was back to the underworld. She was trapped in the underworld because of the cursed pomegranate seeds. She would forever be forced to live in the underworld for her husband, father, and mother had made the deal that Persephone was to stay in the underworld for a certain amount of time, then the rest of the time was spent with her mother.

In modern times, many people don't consider spring as the time of new beginnings. Not even those who still believe in the greek gods believe in the time of new beginnings. Min Yoongi is one of those people who don't believe in the time of new beginnings. Yoongi hated the springtime, he was like Hades in many ways. He preferred darker themes to his clothes, and his life somewhat. Rarely did he wear something bright. That all changed one day when he met his own Persephone in Seoul Botanical Gardens. The boy was around Yoongi's height, with short silver dyed  hair, a pair of dark brown eyes, and a smile of a thousand summers. Yoongi hadn't seen someone that ever looked like that before, but if he had they hadn't been as beautiful as this boy.

Despite this, Yoongi never walked up to the boy and talked to him. He left the garden, but promised to return to the garden again the next day. He did just that. The ravenette went back to the garden, but he was upset to see that the boy was not there,nor was he there the next day. Yoongi continued going back to the botanical garden everyday for a year before getting ready to give up. He would give the gardens one last chance before he officially gave up. The gardens were beautiful as he entered the garden, Yoongi looked and looked for the boy, but he never saw him. With a heavy heart Yoongi gave up. The boy wouldn't be here. He turned and began walking away before he heard a sweet voice. "You know Spring is a time for happiness." The voice said from behind him. Yoongi turned and saw it was the boy. He now had pink hair. "Spring is the time of new beginnings, and guarded by the Goddess Persephone. Although I don't really believe in the Greek Gods, I know there is someone protecting the season. This is the time where new things are created. The flowers bloom, the animals come out from hibernation, and even meet new people you never expected to meet." He said smiling at Yoongi. Yoongi just stared in shock at the boy. "I'm Park Jimin, it's a pleasure to meet you." He said, reaching out his hand for Yoongi to take. From that moment, Spring became one of Yoongi's favorite seasons. Like Hades, Yoongi has found someone to love. Yoongi may not have pomegranate seeds to feed Jimin, but he hopes that Jimin stays his for a long, long time.
