Sloppy Seriel Killer

I was sitting at my regular lunch table, looking through some of my old drawings. I came across the drawings me and Chris made on his last birthday party...the day he died... it was the drawings of him, me, Micheal, mom, and Daddy...
Mom...
It had been two years since she left for her business trip... no calls...no letters...nothing... she just...left and never came back. Judging by the fact that it was about a week after Chris died, I'm pretty sure she pulled the old, "went to buy some milk and never came back" trick... now it's just been my dad... and the restaurant hadn't been doing so well. They just opened up two of them which cost a lot of money, circus Baby rental service and the more popular one, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
However, five children were found dead in one of the back rooms of the pizzeria about a month ago, so with the rental service not being too popular and five dead children being found, was not helping business.
"Hey Elizabeth!" Kellen's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Hey Kellen!" I said. Kellen's eyes darted at my drawings as he sat next to me.
"Did you draw these?" He asked. I smiled.
"Yeah, these are really old drawings I made, all my new ones are in my house." I told him. We flipped through my old drawings, when we came across ones I swore I threw out.

The nightmares....

We both paused, staring at the horrific drawing that were made by nine year old me...

I wasn't even trying to draw those monsters...but I did...

"I'm guessing this was after the accident..." Kellen assumed. I shook my head no.
"I-It was right before..." I replied. I cursed at myself for stuttering.
"I thought you liked animatronics so much they felt like people?" I didn't even bother asking who told them that, everyone knew it. I was just sitting there staring at my drawings...memories flashed back into my mind....

"Elizabeth!!!" Once again, I was brought into reality.
"Huh? Sorry I didn't catch that." I said, slightly dazed. Kellen sighed.
"I asked where you got the inspiration for this stuff and then you started hyperventilating... are you ok?" He asked worryingly. I sighed.
"If I told you, god..." I put my hands on my face. "You wouldn't believe me."
"You'd be surprised. Me and this pink haired girl snuck into Freddy's and... the animatronics were moving after the pizzeria was closed... so...try me..." I jolted my head towards him.
"What? You snuck in?!?" I asked, my tone changing.
"I told you I ran into kids here and I wanted to fit in a little so...I snuck into your dad's haunted pizzeria.... and nearly died..." I just stared at him in shock... he could be lying... he could just be saying this to relate to me...but I needed to get this off of my chest...

I needed to tell someone what me and Chris went through.

I told him everything, Lolbit, Fredbear (plush) the nightmare animatronics....Charlie...everything. And he believed every single bit of it. He said he had someone named Silver who was with him at the pizzeria the night before and saw what he saw. At recess, I told her, and she believed me too. She had long brown hair with pink streaks, greenish-yellowish eyes, freckles, and some of her hair were in short pigtails but most of it was down.
Eventually we talked about missing kids and the bite of 83, when my mom came up.

"Wait, what do you mean my mom was reported missing two years ago? I mean I don't think she's on a business trip but I think the authorities know where she is!" I exclaimed. Silver looked at me in shock.
"You don't know? She's practically an urban legend! Because it's like she disappeared off the face of the earth. Your dad told the police that her car was still in the garage, and that he hand seen her in days!" She told me. My dad... but... he knew? I was nine so...maybe he was trying to let me recover from the bite? No...no because why would he go two full years without telling me!?! Unless...

"And on top of that, six kids have been seen dead at the pizzerias! First Charlie, then those other five kids, and the five children were found in a place only the owners would have access to, it makes total sense! The killer is either Henry or—"
"My dad..." I interrupted. Silver paused her monologue and stared at me. I knew Silver... well...I knew of Silver. I sat behind her in language arts. She was a good person from what I could tell...but she had a habit of not knowing when to take things slow, so naturally she forgot that the only other owner of these restaurants was my dad.
"Elizabeth I'm sorry I—"
"It's fine really...Fredbear and Lolbit were positive about it and... I just can't believe he did it..." I said. Kellen quickly shook his head, happy to actually know how to contribute to the conversation, since he was new to town he didn't really know much about it's history, so he didn't know how to contribute to what me and Silver had been talking about for the last twenty minutes.
"We don't know that, it could've been Henry, or maybe someone entirely different, the killer is never who you expect it to be—" but I interrupted again.
"No it all adds up...it makes sense and...he's been acting weird lately...off..."

We all stood in the corner of the playground in silence.
"No offence Elizabeth, but your dad is a really sloppy serial killer." Silver joked. I laughed slightly more than I probably should've, and Kellen gave a look that said: "I am now hanging out with the scariest people I've ever met." And that is fine. Because ya know what, It was boring not having some kind of crisis to fix, so if this was my only way to bond with people. Sure, why not.

Cause I normally bond with pretty cool people.
