We arrived at the Prentistown Museum. They said it was the biggest museum in America. They weren't kidding.

"Listen up! You all have exactly 3 hours to tour the museum. Be back here till then. You are only allowed in the museum as of now. No one is to go out of this building until the 3 hours are up. You hear me?!" Ms. Carter announced loudly. You would think she was an army captain.

"Yes m'am!" Everyone answered back.

She nodded and let us go. I looked for Catherine, who seemed nowhere to be found. Where could she be?

"Catherine? C'mon! I want to start exploring this place. Catherine?!" I called out. After a few minutes, she appeared out of no where. Where did she come from?

"Where were you? I was looking for you for almost half an hour" I frowned at her. She looked a little flustered.

"I was just in the toilet. Girl business was calling", she smiled faintly at me. She was looking everywhere but my eyes.

"Catherine are you alright-" she cut me off.

"I'm great. Now didn't you say you wanted to explore this place. Let's get going then". She dragged me by the wrist and we started to walk off, well more like me being dragged off.

*******************************

"Now if you look to your left, you will see the 1874 Remmington type writer. It was-" Blah, blah, blah. I couldn't listen to another word the tour guide was saying or else I would literally die from boredom. I looked over at Catherine and she seemed engrossed in what was happening.

"Cath, I'm just going to look around okay?" I whispered. I didn't want to disturb the tour guide while she was talking.

"Yeah yeah sure, whatever" she waved me off. I took that as my sign to head on out.

I walked through the halls and I noticed some paintings and artefacts like scrolls, scripts and some animal teeth. I am suspecting they belonged to extinct animals.

As I came to the end of the hall, there was a huge window. I came closer. The window overlooked the whole of Prentistown. It looked small from up here. This is truly beautiful.

As I scanned through the many buildings and houses of Prentistown, I saw an area that didn't quite fit in. It looked worn down, dirty and dark. All the things Prentistown is not. What is that-

"Lucy!" I jumped by the loud mention of my name. I searched for the source of the voice and saw Catherine.

"Geez Catherine, you gave me a fright just there" I rubbed my chest, where my heart was, to calm myself.

"You just vanished without telling me where you were" She exclaimed. I scoffed and rolled my eyes at her.

"You were too busy listening to the tour guide that you didn't even listen to me. I was bored out of my mind so I told you I would just look around" I told her. She looked surprised and scratched the back of her neck.

"Oh well if that's the case, let's get going. Our time is up so we have to meet the class" She said and walked me along.

What was that place? Why did it look like that? Was there a fire? An explosion maybe? I'll find out what it is.
