For a year and a half Beam tried to stay away from forth. He chose to spend time at school. Doing his work in the school computer laboratory and not at Forth's house. Or spend time studying in the library. He also stopped sending Forth messages every night.
He thought all these things would make Forth stay away from him. But not. If he comes home late, Forth will be waiting for him. If Beam does his work in the school's computer laboratory, Forth will play a computer game next to Beam. If Beam goes to the library, a place Forth hates, Forth will still follow Beam. He will play the game on his cellphone while sitting quietly next to Beam. If Beam does not send the message as promised, then Forth will call him every night. If Beam doesn't pick up the phone, Forth will come to Beam just to say good night to him. So Beam learned to pick up Forth's phone. He did not want to wake the whole house just because Forth wanted to say good night to him.
Library staff are accustomed to seeing Forth and Beam every day. Since there is Forth and Beam, the library is always full. Although most of the students came together just to see Forth and Beam. They are like the superstars of this school. Forth himself did not care about the dozens of pairs of eyes staring at him. Sometimes he does nothing but play games on his cellphone. He also doesn't care even when Beam refuses to talk to him. The librarian felt sympathy for him and allowed Forth to bring food. Only Forth.
"Sruuuupppp" Forth sucked the rest of the cappuccino from his glass.
Beam hit Forth's head strongly. Forth winced.
"Don't you have any shame. Nobody brings food to the library besides you," Beam said irritably. Forth sighed and looked at Beam.
"Even the aunt of the library guard is being so nice to me. Can't you also be a little sweet to me," said Forth, frowning. Beam looked at Forth for a moment before chuckling and went back to reading his book
"I'm not asking you to follow me," Beam said coldly. "So be quiet. Many people are here to study," he added curtly
Forth was used to Beam's cold attitude. For one and a half years Beam had been cold to him. Sometimes treating him as if he were not there. Today he is a little lucky. Beam wants to talk to him in the library.
"Gezz ... you don't have to study. The teachers will even let you pass without even your exam"
Beam just rolled his eyes without responding to Forth's words. Forth leaned in his chair and put his feet on the chair in front of him.
"Did the homeroom teacher call you?" Forth asked suddenly
Beam still doesn't say anything. But it's not Forth if he just gives up.
"He called me this afternoon and asked about what I wanted to do after graduating from high school," Forth's words about the future made Beam stop reading his book. But he still did not look away at Forth.
"Do you know what my answer is?" asked Forth.
Beam bit his lower lip. He was curious but he tried to keep Forth from seeing his reaction.
Forth glanced at Beam but Beam said nothing. He was still staring intently at the book. Forth sighed. He was silent for a few moments. Beam continues to wait. No one spoke between them. It was as if Beam wanted to pull Forth's collar and force him to speak. But he chose silence.
"I said that I will go wherever you go," Forth answered after being silent for a while.
Beam looked away. Forth smiled widely when finally Beam looked at his face.
