INTRODUCTION
Aspen Fairchild was perfectly normal for half of her life. She had loving and supportive parents, a caring boyfriend, and she was quite the social butterfly. Everyone loved her sweet, soft-spoken personality. She was an embodiment of the girl next door.
Graduate high school with high honors, get a scholarship to Harvard, get a degree in psychology, travel the world. That was the carefully thought-out plan that went up in flames when the truth of her mother's infidelity was unveiled. That was the first domino. The next was finding out her father was not her actual father, which then toppled over the next domino that led her to find out about who her real father was, which knocked down the next domino that revealed the existence of witches and the things that go bump in the night- at this point, she was convinced she went insane.
