(A/N) I wrote this a while ago. Like, it has been at least a year since this fan-fic was finished. So, yeah, that's my excuse for the story. Like, I planned this when I was 13, okay?

It had been a week since The Emperor was defeated. Everything seemed like it was back to normal in Slugterra. The only bad guys around, where people like the Tough guys, the Huligang, and Lock and Load.
Junjie's P.O.V
Junjie, Eli, Trixie, Kord, and Pronto were heading to the Jungle cavern. They had received news of something attacking the cavern. When the group got there, they split up. Junjie and Eli went one way, while Kord, Trixie, and Pronto went the other way.
Eli- What do you think this is?
Junjie- It can't be anything good
Eli- Be on your guard. It can't be too far from here.
Just as he said that, someone who looked a bit like darkbane shot a ghoul at them. Eli and Junjie easily dodged it. A fight broke out.
Trixie's P.O.V
Trixie herd some screaming coming from the place where Eli and Junjie had went. She, Kord, and Pronto quickly ran there, only to see Junjie falling unconscious on the ground. The group ran up to him. And Junjie said this:
Junjie- Darkbane... Eli... Help...
He then fell unconscious.
Trixie- We gotta find Eli.
Kord- Trixie and Pronto, go find Eli. I'll get Junjie back to the mechas
Trixie and Pronto went to find Eli. After walking for a few minutes they saw Eli. But he wasn't alone. The person who looked like a darkbane was there too. And he shot a ghoul that looked... different. It wasn't any ghoul that they had seen before. It seemed to be super strong, because it knocked out Eli on the first shot. The darkbane then looked at Trixie and Pronto and ran away. Trixie walked up to Eli. He was definitely unconscious. Trixie and Pronto got him back to Mechas.
Kord- Woah. What happened to Eli?
Trixie- Darkbane. A darkbane shot some kind of weird Ghoul at Eli, that knocked Eli unconscious. We weren't able to wake him up, but it also seems that he isn't dead.
Pronto- If Pronto the magnificent had been there sooner, it would have been the darkbane unconscious!
Trixie- Let's get back to our hideout.
The group got back to their hideout. Trixie then went to her room and took out her green crystal, and used to communicate with Tad and Hildegard.
Trixie- Black, Purple. Something weird has happened.
Tad- Well, what happened?
Trixie- A darkbane shot some kind of weird ghoul at Eli and Junjie. And it knocked them out on the first shot. It happened 5 hours ago, and they still haven't woken up.
Hildegard- I think you might need to figure out what slug was used first
Trixie- That's the thing, I don't know what ghoul that was
Hildegard- Hmm... try to find my base. I'll give you the coordinates. I still have info about all of the ghouls that exist in Slugterra there.
Trixie- Okay, got it.
