Chapter 5 A New Slug Fu Master

            Junjie's P.O.V

     Junjie was hiding in a tree. He could hear Trixie and Pronto shooting slugs. He could also see Eli running, with The darkbane chasing him. So far, the plan was going great. Eli was supposed to lead the darkbane to a dead-end in the jungle cavern, while Kord, Pronto, Trixie, and Tad make sure The darkbane doesn't escape. And when the darkbane fires the ghoul, Junjie will use slug fu to stop it. Junjie could see that Eli had almost lead the darkbane to the dead end. Junjie was about to get a bit closer when he was attacked. Out of nowhere, a cloaked figure attacked Junjie. Junjie wasn't able to see who was the person attacking him. But what he did notice, was that the person attacking him wasn't using slugs, the person was only using a sword. A regular old sword. Junjie and the cloaked figure started to fight.

             Tad's P.O.V

       Tad was hiding in the bushes along with Kord, when he realized that Junjie should be There already.

Tad- Shouldn't Junjie be here already?

Kord- Maybe THAT has something to do with it?

Tad looked up and saw Junjie fighting someone.

Tad- I'll go try to help

Kord- I hope you know what you're doing

     Tad ran up to the tree, where Junjie was fighting someone. Tad fired a hop rock at the person, who then dodged it.

                  Eli's P.O.V

        Eli was running away from the darkbane. He ran closer and closer to the dead end, when suddenly... He tripped. The darkbane pointed his blaster at Eli.

Darkbane- I'm really gonna enjoy this, Shane! Finally, revenge

Eli- Why are you doing this, Hildegard? I thought we were on the same team

Darkbane- Hildegard? Ha! Do you seriously think I'm her? Hildegard would never do something like this. She would never try getting rid of a slug-fu master. I don't think she even knows what slug-fu is! Goodbye, Eli Shane!

            The darkbane fired the ghoul. Eli closed his eyes, ready to get hit... when nothing happened. Eli looked around and saw that the ghoul was stopped by slug-fu. But it wasn't Junjie, who had stopped it. No. It was... Hildegard!

         Hildegard was standing on a mushroom, controlling the slug. She then used slug-fu to redirect the ghoul back at the darkbane. The darkbane got hit, and it changed. The darkbane was actually Twist. Loki had lost the illusion, and had now revealed Twists identity.

             Junjie's P.O.V

      Junjie was about to fire Ju-ju at the cloaked figure, when suddenly something happened. The cloaked figure jumped off of the tree and ran away. Both Junjie and Tad stopped firing slugs, and Junjie jumped down from the tree. He walked up to Tad.

Tad- Who was that?

Junjie- I don't know. But I fear we will soon find out

Tad- Anyway, we need to head to Eli. You were supposed to stop the ghoul, but since we were here...

Junjie- Then we have to go

         Junjie and Tad quickly ran to the dead end, where they found Eli and Hildegard pointed their blasters (or in Hildegards case, her slingshot) at Twist. Kord, Pronto, and Trixie had gotten there seconds before Tad and Junjie.

Pronto- Aha! It was Twist, who was behind this!

Hildegard- Hello captain obvious

Trixie- What do we do with him now?

Kord- We could wake him and find out why he did the things he did.

Eli- Okay, but be ready. Twist is still hostile towards us.

        Trixie gave Doc to Eli, who then used it to wake Twist. Twist immediately wanted to fire Loki at the group, but his blaster was too far away.

Twist- Let me go, Eli!

Eli- And why exactly?

Twist- You all probably think you're so smart. But you forgot something

Trixie- Forgot what?

Twist- THIS!

      Twist kicked Eli's blaster out of Eli's hands, then proceeded to push Eli onto Trixie and Junjie. Tad, Kord, Pronto, and Hildegard started firing slugs at him, but Twist grabbed his blaster and fired Loki, making Twist invisible.

Hildegard- Ugh... He got way!

Kord- Oh He'll be back

       They returned to the others.

Trixie- Let me guess, he got away

Pronto- Pronto can track him down!

Eli- Let him go, Pronto. We'll find him, but first I want answers from Hildegard

Hildegard- What are you talking about?

Eli- How are you able to know slug-fu?

Tad- And where have you been disappearing to?

Hildegard- I'll explain everything... later. Right now we have to get out of the open. Twist might still be somewhere close

Junjie- And that cloaked figure might also be close by

Trixie- What cloaked figure?

Tad- During the fight Junjie got attacked by someone, who was using only a sword. No slugs

Trixie- Yeah, right. No one would ever do that

Tad- I can prove it!

Trixie- How?

Tad- The same way you showed me and Hildegard the ghoul! By using my crystal!

Hildegard- Tad!

Tad- Whoops. I guess I shouldn't have said that last part

Hildegard- Let's go. I'll show you what he is talking about
