XXIII. A DAY WITH LANCASTER

"Grania baby!" magiliw na tawag sa akin ni Cozbi. Gusto kong umirap sa pag tawag niya ng baby sa akin.

"Saan ka galing panget?" she asked and she's with Kahel again.

I don't know what's the real score between them but I can see that they're both happy and looked contented.

"Library." I answered and continued walking.

"Gusto mo sumabay sa amin ni Kahel? Baka naman maalala mo kami ano?" she sarcastically asked.

"I got busy but I'll join you later, I still need to meet Marcus." I said and I couldn't stop myself from biting my lower lip.

"Marcus?" Kahel curiously asked. "Why? Is there anything that he wanted to say?" Kahel added.

"Maybe, I got a letter from him, found it inside my locker." I answered and Cozbi shrieked and hugged me.

"Bessywaps! Ikakasal ka na!" she excitedly said and my forehead crimp.

"What are you talking about Cozbi?" I asked and she rolled her eyes.

"Sige na! Unalis ka na at baka hinihintay ka na ni Marcus! Mukhang na bagok ang ulo no'n at nag desisyon ng manligaw! Torpe kasi!" Cozbi said.

I bid my goodbye to the both of them and I read again his letter.

"Nia, Meet me near the enchanted tree. I miss you, I'm sorry for not remembering you for years." I read and I couldn't stop myself from smiling and I felt really excited.

Finally! He can finally remember me, our friendship, the bonding and the stories that we shared. Everything, I wished he remembered all of it and I want to know what happened to him, why and what's the reason why he forgot me and also Lavien.

I was near to the entrance of Dark forest when I heard a cold baritone voice and I'm certainly sure it's  Levin Lancaster.

"Going back again, I see." he said and he's staring at me while eating a red apple.

I just nodded and about to continue walking when he throw the apple and it roll over into my feet.

I looked at him again, anong problema niya?
