Payal Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada's POV:
Payal Singh Raizada daughter of Shashi and Garima Gupta and wife of Akash Singh Raizada was always calm, silent and peace loving soul. If Gayatri (Kushi's mother) and Garima were two mother's of Kushi, then she is her third mother, friend, secret barer and confident. Gupta family before Kushi's arrival was a typical middle class family, money which they earned were just enough to fill the stomach's. Before Payal's birth Garima had 3 miscarriages and a child who was dead just a year after, due to defective heart condition. While Madhumathi Mishra had a son Mayur Mishra who was dead along with her husband Madhav Mishra in fire outburst at a carnival. Then Madhu started living with her brother just on the pension her husband left. Life was filled with misery above that deaths was taking a toll on the family, then Payal happened, she was precious child who was born healthy after 10 long years of wait but was worth it.
After Payal was born life has given enough peace, they were content and happy in whatever they got. Payal was simple girl, she had no big dreams, but wanted to help her family. She was just like Shashi and Garima obedient, respectful and soft spoken. She never back answered any one but baby Payal always left out, she being a single child always felt a need of companion of her age, who understands her, but this was never possible because Garima can never be pregnant again and Mayur died even before her birth, that is when Kushi entered in their lives. When she was 10 year old Shashi and Garima bought chubby, cute, hazel eyed baby. Who was seeing the world with her bambi eyes innocently not knowing what was happening to her. Kushi was 6 years old then, her parents Gayatri and Bavesh Sharma died in a road accident leaving their only daughter behind. Kushi's parents were just like her parents belonged to a middle class family living happily. Garima being the only blood relative, she was handed over with Kushi's custody.
Payal though met Kushi and her parents but was ages ago when Kushi was just 2. Payal and her parents were happy that Kushi was atleast with them and didn't went to wrong hands but Madhu thought the other way she was against Kushi because of additional, burden and money. But, Shashi never left Kushi and was ready for the responsibility. Kushi was so scared, depressed and sad, she always wanted Shashi or Garima with her as they were the only known faces to her and was afraid of buaji. Payal though wanted to talk but was refrained by Garima, her ma made her understand what was the actual situation and how to tackle it and Payal was ready to face anything for her baby sister. One day she got to know the amount of fear Kushi has piled in her.
After 2 months of Kushi's arrival the shape of Gupta family started, Shashi started his own shop which was running successfully and everyone thought Kushi's feet to be lucky, even Madhu also agreed with that and started easing up with Kushi. Suddenly one day the evening weather took a drastic turn Elders were busy with the work while Payal and Kushi was alone in GH. The loud thunder roar woke up the calm sleeping Kushi. She started crying loudly and moved to the corner and sat afraid covering her face. Her eyes were red and that site still set shivers down the spine to Payal, who came just after hearing a loud cry. Payal ran and hugged the crying Kushi dearly, saying soothing words and rubbing her back to calm her. From that day to the present Kushi was her first child, she never cares for anyone when it comes to Kushi.
Payal was against her first marriage with Abhishek, he wants to take her away from her family and his family was asking dowry more than what Gupta's can afford to give, just before the time of her marriage when it was delayed because Gupta's cannot offer money and Kushi wasn't in the house as she went to Sheesh mahal, Payal stood her ground fiercely, the side which only gets revealed if anyone bad mouth her baby sister and even in her life Payal couldn't recognize herself the way she insulted Abhishek's family. She moved on in her life from the next day, badly scolding her baby sis for the stunt she displayed.
When Buaji wanted to fix Shyam's marriage with Kushi she had done everything in her to stop it, even was ready to sacrifice herself and marry Shyam but her marriage was already fixed with Akash that time. Payal was thankful when Shyam's real face was revealed before marriage, she always wanted Kushi to be with Arnav because the way his face oozed care and love when he bought the unconscious Kushi she prayed wholeheartedly for to end up together. Payal was the one who made her understand Arnav's love which she gave the name of acidity. She was against her mother and buaji for taking promise to reveal the truth of Shyam to Raizada's.
But she was always against the way to start a relationship with deceit, so she told the entire matter to Akash before marriage and her husband was angry because of the blame she put on his lovely jijaji, but when he checked the background he was broken, cried in her arms and he even wanted to tell Arnav but refrained himself seeing how Arnav's health detoriated and had few episode of loosing his conscious. He promised Payal to look into the matter. Payal was happy when Kushi married Arnav but was upset that she couldn't attend it. She was the first person who forgave Kushi after all she was still her cute little sister. Payal always wants to give her mother-in-law tit for tat for the insults she throws, but controls herself learning about the actual history of Raizada's from her husband. When her husband was silent while Shyam was insulting her and Kushi, she was burning with anger and even slapped Akash and Shyam in front of everyone. No amount of sorries were enough but again eventually she was calm.
Payal and Kushi were faces of the same coin and no one can separate them. But today from the morning, she was feeling uneasy and the feeling of losing someone was eating her badly.......
From next update the actual story starts, so stay tuned to it...
