New beginnings

Sunniva's POV

It's been one month... it's been one month since the attack on New York took place. For thousands of years I've searched and searched for a man I once called my lover, only to find him when I had no intention of looking for him any longer. He doesn't remember me or what we had. Maybe it's time I move on and forget the past...for God's sake it was centuries ago and I've never loved another for all that time. I've been wasting away for something that's been long gone and out of my reach. It's time to forget.

This is a new beginning for my family and I. To keep our world in order. In recent events we've discovered that we are not the only ones who possess such great strength and powers. There's a universe full of deadly creatures that have still yet to be discovered by our world. As Thor called us "Midgardians" we must protect our world. It's the last thing I would like to do but it could result in the vampire species being wiped out completely. And that's a risk I was not willing to take. -Unfortunately Niklaus the ever so delightful twit is on a "probation" for trying to side with Loki. Fury made that call after Bekah begged that he should not receive any punishment, that it may result in Klaus throwing a temper tantrum.

"Niva" I turned my head facing the person who called my name withdrawing me from my own world. "Yes Kol?" He shoots me an odd look before speaking up, "did you not hear a word I said?"
I sigh shaking my head, "just a bit distracted, that's all." He sucks in a breath in annoyance, "very well, have you finished packing? Stark expects our arrival soon." Bloody hell, I've forgotten that the man of iron has come to the decision that the avengers shall live in his building for the time being. Surprisingly the director agreed commenting that it would be better for the group to bond so no further disagreements shall arise if another attack were to take place.

Thor POV
Asgard

"Brother, please I beg of you to speak to me" I stood pleading to this man I hardly recognized. He scoffed shaking his head "oh mighty Thor, what exactly would you like me to say, mmh?" Before I had time to conjure a response he continued "Thank you for ruining my life.."
"Enough" my voice stern, "I ruined your life!? Loki you cannot be serious! Do you know HOW many lives I saved stopping you from your madness"
"You think of yourself a hero? you are not, you are nothing!" I bite tongue knowing he does not mean anything he is saying right now. I sigh looking at him once more, "brother-" I am cut off as the guards open up the doors causing Loki and I to turn in their direction.
"Mother.." I hear Loki whisper in shame as our mother stands before us. She gives me a sympathetic look and I nod in her direction stepping slightly out the way so she can get a better view of Loki.
She slowly but gracefully makes her way over to us.
"My sons..." she closes her eyes slightly and inhales a sharp breath. "Thor, please give us the room."
I shoot her a concerned look, "I cannot leave you alone with him." She stares at me sternly "Thor I know your brother will not do anything to harm me, now leave us ."
"Fine but I'll be right out those doors." I nod while walking away leaving my brother and mother alone.

3rd person pov

Once Thor and the guards leave, Loki and Frigga are left alone in a cooling silence. Loki hangs his head in shame as his mother stares at him with sad eyes. "Look at me my son." Loki growls slightly but complies, lifting his head slowly he reveals his true form of heartbreak. Frigga sighs "tell me, what troubles you?" He scoffs in annoyance "what troubles me? Mother if only you knew what I've been through.."
Calmly Frigga interrupts, "I know you've taken many innocent lives... but I also know that wasn't you."
"I don't know who I am anymore" he admits
"Then we will find out." Both Frigga and Loki turn their attention to Odin who stands before them.
Frigga looks at her husband confused "what do you mean?"
Odin keeps his gaze on his wife, "this boy has had many things taken from him, it's time we find out the real man we call our son. For that he will be stripped of his powers and sent to Midgard under the radar of their government facility Thor has relations with. He will make up for the sins committed against the Midgardians."
"Odin, do you truly believe this is wise?" Frigga ask concerned. "Oh it is wise for Odin, he knows how much I despise Midgard, this is indeed a punishment" Loki hissed.
"Brother this is a test of good fate." Thor adds as he walks in like he's been apart of the conversation the entire time. "Of course you agree Odinson."
"Yes he does agree with the King's orders Loki, that's why your brother will be accompanying you to Midgard." Odin states proudly as Frigga and Loki stand there shocked at the news of Odin's sentence.
"Well get some rest you depart tomorrow" with that Odin, Frigga and Thor walk out leaving Loki in the dungeons.
