"SOMETIME AGO — about ten years back, I think — there was a student here at Fukurōdani who was hated and feared by many.

"She was a lonely, broken soul. At a young age, she lost faith in people, and she took it upon herself to go beyond humanity, to become superior in wit and influence. She was a perfectionist — intelligent and ambitious but spiteful and selfish.

"Since her mother was the head of the school board, her teachers and peers didn't even dare to cross her, so she always got her way, including the role as student council president. She thought of everyone as incompetent bumbling pests, so she impeached all the other board members and remained as the only acting officer.

"With her efforts and power alone, she would shape this school into the esteemed image she saw fit. It was no secret that she viewed herself as the greatest person to have ever graced the halls of Fukurōdani Academy... that is, until the incident.

"On one beautifully warm day, her classmates decided to pull a prank on their intolerable president at long last. You see, they discovered she was deathly afraid of insects, so they planted the council room's desk with beetles, worms, roaches, grasshoppers, and others they could find.

"She entered her office after class, and the students held the door shut. When she opened the desk's drawer, she let out strangled cry while her peers giggled outside. The bugs crawled over her desk, jumped on her, and flew in her face, completely overwhelming her. She stumbled back, misplaced her footing, fell through the open window behind her, and — "

"The student council room doesn't have any windows, though."

"Ahem, well, because of this tragedy, the administration removed the windows from the student council room to prevent anyone else from getting severely hurt or falling to their death like the young pupil had."

"Wait, so you mean to tell me that only the student council room had its windows removed — "

"And it was also to ensure that this death would remain a secret and would be forgotten by all."

"Our office is on the first floor, though? Or do you have some wild explanation for that, too — "

"Ever since then, people have been hearing strange noises from that very room. Even when it's empty, bystanders would hear anguished wailing and muttered cursing, and rumors of it being haunted spread throughout the campus. When the new council tried to relocate their office to the first floor, the noises only seemed to follow them and continue."

"Nice save... I think."

"Around six in the evening, some have witnessed a long, black-haired figure wearing a tousled Fukurōdani girl's uniform and opening the council's door with a slow, eerie creak. It trudges into the hallway, whispering under its breath, 'Why did you do this? I did everything for this school! You should suffer with me! Share my pain, will you? It's all your fault! Pests... pests... pests! Every last one of you!'

"Rumors state that making eye contact with her will lead to an unfortunate, untimely death. If you do, there is no telling what will happen and how to reverse the curse. She's coming for you, and her hatred for the Fukurōdani student body will never be sated and will never subside. She must and will have her revenge, no matter how many people it takes — no matter how long."
