A tale of two princes

Once, there was a kingdom all dream to be in for the kingdom was beautiful by nature and by heart . Lots of loyal subjects lived there , they all valued the king ,queen and their two charming sons Roman and Remus both age 17. The kingdom stood out from all the others because of it's history ,it's ancestors, it kindness and its respect .The two brothers never really went out of the palace and when they did it would most likely be for a special occasion and surrounded with guards and protectors .Remus and Roman wondered at times what it was like to live out of the palace walls with all the subjects. As children the two played games about princes , princesses and evil villains .Roman had came up with all the evil villains ,his favourite being the dragon witch but that was when they were young .

"Hey Remus ," Roman asked looking at his twin ," last night I , I had a strange dream about outside the palace and meeting new people and I sorta wanna try it .Remus looked at his brother with a grin and nodded his head ," mm I mean we are old enough why shouldn't we be able to go out and see the world ." Remus then bolted up straight and looked at his brother with a grin ," we could always beg mother and father ." Roman thought about it for a slight second until he finally nodded and grabbed his brother by the wrist dragging him down the stairs to the throne room were mother and father would surely be . When they got to the throne room they saw their father talking to a knight until he saw us out the corner of his eye. "ah my little princes, what brings you hear ?" he asked grinning slightly. Roman then collapsed onto his knees and started begging him with a slight baby voice and Remus copying . The King stared at his two sons on the floor begging to see  beyond the walls ,he paused and muttered to himself until finally saying ,"as long as the knights come with you ." Remus looked slightly irritated but agreed sighing as his Dad called two guards .They both rushed to his assistance and as the king was explaining Remus and Roman were getting very excited that finally they would be finally able to go out which made Remus think why they hadn't tried that before .

When they were finally out of the palace they passed various stalls and huts  many people have them smiles and started getting excited in the end many people were going into the middle of the market to see what the hassle was about . In the back of the crowd was two boys trying to see what was going on but couldn't see . Then someone screamed ," OMG THE PRINCES," hearing this the two boys then rolled their eyes and backed away towards some of the smaller huts . Meanwhile with Remus and Roman the guards were doing a good job looking after them ,everyone was shouting and screaming excitedly at them . Just then , a flower crown was tossed at Roman ,who admired it and thanked the crowd .Then Roman starting speaking to everyone and they were all so focused on him that it gave Remus an opportunity to slip away from the crowd and even the guards didn't realise . Remus began looking around the town hut  to hut, he then saw a shady looking alleyway along with a beautiful singing voice ,Remus followed the voice down the alleyway until he saw two teenage boys , one was singing the other was scribbling stuff down on a note pad.

The one singing seemed to notice him  and nudge the other who looked up and gave Remus a face of disgust . The one who was singing looked very different half of his face was covered in scales and the other half just human flesh , he wore a yellow ragged shirt with worn out trousers and a old Dusty black hat . The one writing wore all black with a splash of purple ,he had dark patches around his eyes which was possibly dirt or the lack of sleep highly both. "Hey I'm Remus crown ," Remus said smiling ," and you are ?" Neither one of them said a world and just ignored him completely ,this seemed to piss Remus off as he just stick his nose in the air which made the scaled one snort and let out a small grin . The boy then sighed stood up and put out his hand and as Remus shook it he said ,"I'm Janus." Then Remus smiled ,"Well mr Janus your singing is wonderful ." The other one looked up slightly sighed again and said ,"Virgil,my name's Virgil."

"REMUS ? REMUS??? ," Roman screamed running up to his brother sword in hand ,Virgil  took his sword off him in a blink of an eye and began to examine it closely . Remus giggled as Roman started moaning and asking for it back . Just then the guards ran up to them one of them holding a sword at virgil insisting he give it back , he then dropped Roman sword in fear and coward behind Janus .Roman went and picked it up putting it back into his scabbard the Knight then was about to arrest Virgil for possibly attacking the prince but Roman stepped in insisting that wasn't necessary .

He then grabbed his brothers arm and dragged him along and the guards had no choice but to follow ,which made Janus and virgil to sigh in relive .When the princes got back to the palace they immidiently told their dad about the trip skipping out the whole Janus and Virgil thing .When they both went up to their rooms Remus told Roman all about what happens and their names and what they were doing. Virgil starting to facinate Roman because of his courage to take his sword off his hands .

After half an hour of discussing what happend  the maid came in and told them it was time for their tea , Which was a classic Sunday dinner , the brothers came rushing down the large staircases .They say down at the table with their mother and father and they told their mother about the day and how all the citizens were .

After tea,the twins went upstairs and put on their nightgown and got into their fancy beds and slept peacefully .

I hope you enjoyed this was the longest thing I've done so far and it was inspired by death-of-a-phangirl. just to make it clear Janus and Virgil aren't brothers .
