Third Pov
The game began and the two love birds had to separate from each other. With one last kiss, the two separated to their spots in the court. The game began with Tooru's over handed serve, it was violent and Yuu barely kept it off the ground. It was like that, going back and forth until Tobio took the chance to send a set to Shoyo. While the game continued Karasuno was ran ragged, all of them panting and out of breath, especially Yuu. The libero had taken the worse of all the hits and bruises were definitely gonna be all over his arms, knees, legs, and elbows by tomorrow. The game went on, Karasuno one the first set, Seijoh winning the second. The third started, the tie breaking set.Tooru Oikawa was getting sassy as the two teams sat neck and neck to each other, he only shut up when Karasuno needed one more point to take the match. The captain was pissed, but the charade of cockiness only fell for a moment before going back up ten-fold.
"Looks like it's a close game.... We'll take two points and win... It was a nice game Chibi-chan" Tooru said with his signature smile.
"Sorry Great King, but you shouldn't doubt the sun or the moon. Best to look away at the sight of a solar eclipse, you might go blind" Shoyo said as the ball shifted from the Seijoh side of the court towards Karasuno's it was like Shoyo knew Tobio would save the ball and be unable to set the last point because he got the first touch. When that happened, panic ensued. The Decoy whipped his gaze to Kei, serious and dark, he wanted this. He wanted to win this game and prove Tooru Oikawa wrong.
"SOLAR ECLIPSE" Shoyo shouted, forcing his boyfriend to rush from the back line to the front, breaking the formation of the team. Tobio barely make it out of Kei's way as the ball got closer to the setters realm on the court.
"Solar eclipse....? But Glasses can't.... Wait" Hajime said, his eyes widening as the ball made it to Kei's taped up hands. It was a bit difficult to set the ball, but it was enough. Shoyo was exhausted, though he didn't show it. His body ached for the last hit, he wanted it to work, it had to count! Shoyo's eyes we're wide open, glaring at Oikawa, who was stuck staring in shock at Kei. Shoyo was right to name the move Solar Eclipse, everyone was staring at the blond from the other side of the court, the moon out-shined the sun and Karasuno used that to its advantage.
Shoyo's hand slammed into the ball, it flung past Tooru Oikawa's line of sight and slammed into the ground next to him. In. It was in. The point counted. Tooru whipped his head to look at Shoyo as he fell to the ground, eyes filled with horror. The wind from the ball had blown his hair, knocked him from the trance that was the confusion and perplexing personality and abilities that Kei Tsukishima had.
"The sun.... And the moon..... I... How?!" The captain asked in shock as the whistle blew, signifying the end of the match. Shoyo had landed on one foot and a knee, both ached and he probably twisted something, but the ginger ignored the pain to stand tall. He looked up to Tooru with a smirk.
"I told you to look away from a solar eclipse. Though I guess the moon shining in front of the sun is an attractive sight" Shoyo commented as Kei allowed their hands to tangle with each other's. They smiled at each other, then the smile dropped. Kei looked at Tooru Oikawa with a blank look, Hajime had come up to the net, smiling at Shoyo as they struck up a conversation.
"I'm more than capable of not hurting him. So just remember that feeling of horror when you think I can't protect my family. You're face was priceless by the way, we should have recorded the match to get a good shot of it" Kei said, his arms crossing over his chest as his cocky smile returned.
"Why you little-!" Tooru grumbled, but Hajime held him back.
"It was nice talking to you Shoyo.... You should text me more often, I've missed our conversations. Thanks for the game Tsukishima. Take care of them" Hajime told the two of them, then dragged Tooru away by the ear. The two were surrounded by their teammates, all of them cheering at how they scored the final point. It was a miracle that they beat Aoba Johsai in the first place.
