The Entrance Exam (Part 2)

"Card of Trickery!

I summon thee!

April!"

An orange card appeared above Yukino's hand as she grasped it by the edge and flipped it in the air. Bright light engulfed the card and a dark-haired girl with wild orange eyes appeared before Yukino.

"Yooo! Yukiiii! You finally summoned my beautiful as--"

"Please don't continue whatever it is you have to say, April-sama." Yukino deadpanned at the dark-haired girl in front of her who only pouted. "Aw... You're no fun, Yuki."

You must be wondering... 'What is the awaited quirk of our deadpan protagonist??'

Well, to answer your question, and it's quite obvious you see, it's called Card Manipulation. But her Cards are different because they are all organized. Yukino's a very neat person.

Yukino's in possession of 8 Cards by far and they are all named after each months. Yes, I'm talking about January to August and each of them have their own fighting styles and personalities. She's also planning to complete the months and make it 12 cards. All she has to do is to improve.

"So, so? Do I get to kick some butts out here?" April asked with enthusiasm as she circled Yukino excitedly.

April of Trickery. Her name perfectly defines the chaos that she will most likely set loose once she's summoned by Yukino.

April loves to annoy the hell out of people. She likes to prank her fellow Card members and the people that she doesn't like, a.k.a August (who will be shown in the future chapters).

Her power is directly written on her name. Trickery. She tricks people, she pranks people, she makes them suffe-ahem... What I meant was...

She enjoys the look of pure terror and pain in their eyes.

"Only robot ones." Yukino answered.

Before Yukino could say anything, April already ran and left her in the middle of the Battle Center as Yukino heard some noises and metals scraping to the ground where April just left to.

Yukino shrugged and opened her palm once again.

"Card of Ordinance!

I summon thee!

July!"

A blue card appeared above Yukino's palm as she flipped it once again and another bright light engulfed her card. Out came another dark-haired girl with blue eyes, a serious expression over her face.

"Yukino-san." July bowed as Yukino did the same.

"Will you please make sure that April-sama doesn't end up killing anyone, July-sama?" Yukino asked.

July of Ordinance. She is the mastermind of all the rules and regulations set amongst the Card members and their owner, Yukino, to prevent the cards from going at each other's throats.

She organises the schedules and training sessions of the members to keep them mentally and physically stable to help Yukino in either household chores, grocery shoppings and beating up asses.

Well... the last one wasn't all that true because Yukino usually handles negotiations well.

Anyway, well... As her name states... July keeps the bloodshed hidden in plain sight where the cute and innocent people can't see her doing her work-

"Of course." With that, July left to keep April from hurting anyone or causing trouble.

"Now for me..." Yukino started walking around the mess of broken metals everywhere. The other participants could only gawk at her when she narrowly avoided a flying piece of a robot yet she still kept her blank face and continued her walk as if nothing happened.
