"Lee Ji-Eun, a.k.a the girl on fire chosen by Gucci to be one of their Korean Ambassadors.."

She knows it as soon as she read the headline, she's going to be busy again, specially now that she's signed a major brand. But Ji-eun enjoys being in front of the camera, it's her forte and this is where she naturally shines. Numerous offers had been made for her from different agencies in an attempt to turn her into an idol but she straight up declined all of it.

Truth is, if it hadn't been for an accident 6 years ago which badly affected her legs, she might be one of the top idols right now. She was a good singer and an exceptional dancer. But right now, she's the girl on fire that dominates every runway.

She's interrupted from reading the article when her phone rang.

"Jieunssi, Rise offered you a deal. Have you read it?" Her Manager Hanteo asked her as soon as she answered the call. She shook her head as soon as she heard her name. Only her manager calls her that in a phone call. Always straight up business.

"Aniyo. You know I don't really read those besides, why would they offer me a deal? You know I don't sign agency contracts." She answered while looking up the offer deal on her mailbox.

"To be precise, they want you, well all of us actually, to carry the Rise name as part of their expansion plans." He briefly explained.

"So they want us? Under their agency? Not to be an idol? But to promote?"

"Yeah. They'd be launching the first ever idol school across Asia & since your name is big internationally speaking, they want you to promote the launch of this school." He went on further.

"Give me a few days to think about it, Oppa. But what do the rest of the team say?" She asked as her eyes skim through the deal to get the gist of it.

"Everyone wanted to sign the deal. But of course it's your decision. We all know it's a tough decision to make-"

"Chamkaman Oppa." Silence followed her words as Hanteo waits what she's got to say.

"Yah!" Jieun shouted on the phone.

"Yah Oppa!!!"

"Are you kidding me?" Jieun asked incredulously.

She cannot believe what she's reading. Dancing? Oh for the love of ****

Hanteo flinched on the other end of the line the moment she heard her shout, and he knew she read the certain clause in the deal.

"Jieunssi, calm down."

"Calm down?" She scoffed.

"You haven't even read all of it." He countered.

"This is unbelievable." She muttered as she continue to read the clause regarding dancing.

Hanteo can only sigh in defeat. He got no choice but to listen to Jieun's rant that he knew will come.

"Daebak." She muttered as she closed her eyes and rested her hand on her forehead in an attempt to calm down.

"Seriously Oppa? You've known me for years and you'd still want to take this deal?" She asked. Her voice laced with frustration and irritation.

"I only had one thing that I asked for and yet you're asking me this?" Her disbelief at this turn of event is palpable in her voice.

When Jieun's just starting, she signed a contract with Hanteo, and Jieun laid out one rule. Anything related or has a connection with dancing will be declined.

"You can appeal to them Jieun, we can bargain it out. That one clause can't deny the fact that it's still good deal." He lightly said.

"You're annoying right now you know that?" She grumpily said.

"Arayo." He agreed.

"Trust me on this one alright? Did I ever accepted a deal that won't be good for you?"

"Let's see. There's this one time-" Jieun reiterated but got interrupted by Hanteo.

"Arayo arayo. I'm just making a point Jieunssi, there's no need to remind me that." He smiled when he heard her chuckle on the other line.

"So trust me okay?" He asked.

"There's no other choice is there?" She exhaled.

"But please let me still think about it Oppa." She pleaded.

It's a huge decision on her end, and deciding without considering the outcome is a big no for Jieun.

"I got you kid. You can think about it again. But make sure you're not going to throw a fit because of that clause okay?" He told her.

Although he badly want her to accept this one, he knows how tough it is.

"And read it thoroughly, arasseo?" Hanteo reminded her.

He knows she doesn't read deals offered to her and has been solely trusting him ever since, but this one is different and he want her to make a decision for herself.

"Arasseo." Beep.

She sighed as soon as the call ended. This is making her head ache.

As much as she hated the thought of dancing, she can't really say no to her team. But out of all the things that can be there, why must it be dancing? Jieun asked herself.

Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath to calm her thoughts, Jieun chose to start reading the deal.
