A Mission of the Upmost Importance

Alright, that's it!
    If you are wondering about my sudden outburst, don't worry—I'll "gladly" tell you. I have decided to go in a rather important mission. The thing is, I am embarking on this quest without anyone on Kobold knowing (please don't tell my father or uncle about this).
    "What is this mission," you ask? Well, my mission is quite simple. You see, something is telling me that my mother may still be alive. I may be pissed at her for leaving me at birth, but I miss her at the same time. And I've never even met her!
    I can't believe I'm saying this, but...I have a feeling she is on Earth. Don't ask why I think this. It's just a gut feeling, you know? And I always let my conscience guide me (hmm, that sounds familiar).
    Don't worry, I will keep everyone up to date on how my journey is going. Oh, that reminds me. Ashley had told me there is this thing called "minutes" that apparently run out on a certain date. Mine expire on the 17th of this month, just to let everyone know. Oh, you earthlings probably don't even care.
