I walked out of the coffee shop and all I can see is fog. I saw the water tower with big letters saying Jacksonville, I knew I was close to home because I live just a few blocks away from the water tower. As I got closer and closer to the tower I was gradually getting colder, all I had on was a sweatshirt and shorts.

As I was walking up my driveway none of my family was home, in fact no one was in my city, they all got turned. I remember the day how and when my family got turned. My mom and little brother Cory were out grocery shopping, my dad, my sister and I were watching the football game that was on every Sunday.

My dad would make all of us come watch it with him. My mom and dad would sit in our 8 year old love seat that had one little hole in it at the bottom from our dog. Cory would sit in his favorite reclining chair and snuggle with our dog Copper. My younger sister Rachel and I would sit on our long new couch and share our soft, cozy blanket together. And it was always our tradition. Until that one Sunday when everything went wrong.
