Chapter 6

Yuki POV

The next day it was Sunday, I decided to head over to Maid Latte, I needed to ask Misaki for some help on a question or two. Aoi came in again, the three idiots were gushing over her, "Careful boys, what happened to your precious Misa?" I flip a straw up in my mouth and lean back in my chair, "We could never!" But they had a hint of hesitation, "Sure~" I smirk, a whole bunch of guys surround Aoi, she had such a smug look on her face, "Welcome back Master!" Erika greets Takumi, he looks around and sees me, he grins and walks over to my table, "Will you make a special omelette for me today?" Aoi grabs the sleeve of his shirt, "I'm a customer today, besides, I was just about to sit down," He says, "Then... Why don't we sit together!" Aoi beams up at him, "No thank you," He had a blank look on his face, I snicker, "What a waste!" All the other guys were shocked, he comes over to my table and grabs my work, "Haven't sat upstairs in a while," He flips me over his shoulder and carries me and my stuff upstairs, "Seriously? I thought I told you to at least make her an omelette, come on Takumi, don't be so cold," He puts my stuff down before gently putting me down too, he just shrugs and orders a parfait, and helps me with my work. 

"I refuse to accept! That he prefers that unrefined gir-" Aoi walks up the stairs, I lay my head on the table resting while Takumi was petting my head looking at his phone, "Oh hey Aoi, I saw the manager just leave, I'm sure she'll be back soon," I prop my head up with with my hands stealing a dollop of cream from Takumi's parfait, "So? What are you telling me for?" She says, I sweatdrop, "Just butt out," She glares at me, "Aoi... do you hate me?" I cock my head, "Oh! Whatever would give you that idea?" She covers her mouth and laughs, "Guess there's nothing you can do, just leave her alone, feel free to do whatever you want." I put my head back down and stand up, "Where are you going?" Takumi asks, "I pick up my case, "I need to go on patrol, I need to change in the backroom real quick, I'll see you tomorrow," I stand up, Aoi had a blank look on her face, "Are you a hero? Is that even a girl's job? Is it? IS IT?" She grabs my shirt, I sweatdrop, "Is this really that important to you?" I shake her off, she was breathing heavily, "How did someone like you manage to seduce Takumi Usui? You have some secret technique don't you? That's the only logical explanation. After all, no one can resist my charms! Besides, if I can catch a guy like that, my cuteness would be unstoppable! Tell me right now! What method did you use woman?!" She shakes me again, "I-I didn't use anything! I swear, this crazy guy fell for me, I didn't use anything! Upsie Daisy!" I pick her up, she flails her arms around and my eyes widen, she slaps me out of her hands, the lights go off, it was all dark, Aoi squeals and runs to Takumi, he looks down at her and she blushes, "I wonder what happened?" I look around, my eyes adjusting to the dark, Erika comes up the stairs, "We just had a blackout, every store on this block's in trouble, we can't do anything about it unless we go to the main electrical section which is really dangerous," She tells us, I grin, "No prob, tell me where it is? I'll bring the lights back on," I walk over to her, "Are you crazy? You'll get electrocuted! The maximum is like twenty million volts!" She shakes my shoulders, I chuckle, "It's fine, just show it to me," She sighs and the three of us follow her, "It's here, it got jammed, it can't even turn on, so many people have already tried," All the other maids crowd around, "Stand back a bit," They were confused but did so, I spark electricity in my right hand, "Woah..." Someone says I walk closer, slowly increasing my voltage as I get to the main electrical box, I discharge one billion volts and touch the mainboard, the lights flicker back on and I stop my electricity. "And that's a blackout solved for you!" I grin and snap my fingers, "Wow! That was amazing Yuki!" Misaki comes up to me, I back up, "No! Don't come too close, I'm still charged up with a lot of static, it won't harm you but your hair will stick on end," I laugh, she laughs and backs up, Takumi, however, didn't stop, "Hey Takumi! I told you! I don't want to ruin that picture-perfect hair you maintain," Everyone laughs, but he hugged me anyway, instantly all this hair jolted up, "Now if you want. you can take advantage of your electricity and deliver a nasty electric shock," I grin, he smirks and sticks his finger out at Misaki who yelped, "You perverted scumbag!" She yells at him, we all laugh, after a while, Takumi's hair went back to normal and we went back home.
