Chapter 17

Yuki POV

I stood out on the balcony brushing my teeth, we had so much fun last night at the hot springs, everyone pretty much woke up at noon, "Ah, good morning to you my Princess," Takumi walks out from his room onto the balcony also brushing his teeth, I blush and stare back out at the ocean, "Good morning... Honey," I brush my teeth, he stands behind me and props his head on top of mine, his left arm around my shoulders, he yawns, "You not a morning person?" I ask him, he hums, "So try putting yourself in my shoes, why do you always have to dress like that?" We look down and see Nagisa talking to Aoi, "What's the big deal? Dressing this way is natural for me!" He protests. Nagisa struck a deal with him, if he won the volleyball contest, she will send him back home, but he wasn't allowed to team up with Nagisa because there was an age limit, "Hey Aoi, I'd love to play with you!" I wave from the balcony, "Really!" He clasps his hands, "Why not, I haven't played in a while," I shrug. We trained for the rest of the day, and before we knew it, it was game day. "Damn it, that wasn't enough practise time at all," Aoi scoffs, "Don't worry, we got this, besides, a little ice never hurt nobody, we'll definitely win," I grin, "Hey Yuki, Aoi!" We turn our heads and we see Erika and Takumi, "Are you kidding! Please don't tell me you guys are entering too," I look up at Takumi, "Well, when we heard you're playing beach volleyball, I wanted to join in on the fun, I asked Usui to be my partner and he agreed!" She smiles, I deadpan, "Aoi, we don't have a fighting chance," I look at him, "No! You just said we'd definitely win!" Aoi shakes my shoulders, "Do you even care about this? What are you competing for? It's not like you're not already the main attraction this beach has to offer, every girl here is at your feet! You're already the prince of this beach!" I gesture to all the girls staring at Takumi, "Well I guess I'm going to need a princess, right Princess?" He holds my hair, I blush furiously.

"Gimme a nice set Aoi!" I jump up, ready to spike, it smashes into the sand, "Yeah!" Aoi and I hi-five. Round 2, Aoi digs the ball up, "Nice one Aoi!" I spike a hard cross-court, "Yeah!" We both punch the air. Round 3, "Let's go Yuki!" Aoi was all fired up, "Yeah!" I go for the set, Aoi was all ready to spike, "And we win!" I wink, Aoi and our opposition still didn't realise what had happened, "HUH!" They were shocked, I grin, "Setter dump," I snicker. "I was hoping it would end out like this!" I had an aura around me, "If we win this, I 'm free!" Aoi was on fire, "Haha, looks like we better get serious about this then," Erika sweats, "Go! Final Battle!" The announcer says, "Let the final round start!" Takumi serves the ball, I receive it, "Nice receive!" I hear Aoi say, it went over the net back on their side, "Go Usui!" Erika sets the ball, I jump up, we make eye contact and grin, "I-It's a joust!" He pushes the ball on our side, "Guess I have no choice," I throw my left arm into the sky, lifting the ball up with an ice pillar, "Go Aoi!" He jumps up and spikes the ball, "Yeah!" We hi-ten, "No way... that girl has a quirk?" Murmurs spread across the make-shift stadium, we keep playing, it was hot, very hot, it was mid-day, "The Nariko and Hyodo pair takes the first set," The announcer says, we were panting. Takumi serves again, Aoi runs after it, "Careful Aoi!" I say, he misses by a hair, it just on the line, I whistle, "And I underestimated you once again," I look at him, he smirks, Aoi runs after it, "There's no way the kid can reach it," I grin, He managed to dig it up, "YES!" I smile, but it starts heading over to the poles, this is bad, how can I receive it without getting hurt? Aoi can't get it, he just had the last touch, it was like a lightbulb went off in my head, I hold out my right hand, "What's she doing?" I flip back and create almost a slingshot with electromagnetism, "YES!" I fly high in the sky, "IT WORKED!" I spike the ball down hard next to Takumi's feet, his eyes widen, I stop the current, my quirk fizzing away, "You're telling me that girl has two quirks? Amazing," Murmurs were even louder, I pat my body down, getting rid of the excess static, I hop over to Aoi and touch his shoulders, his hair instantly sparks up, I snicker but then it happened again, "CRAP!" I fall on the ground, I scan the audience and my eyes lock on two people, "Toga..." I grit my teeth, I clutch my head, it was like I was being torn in two, "AHHHH!" I fall on the ground, discharge going everywhere, "Yuki!" I hear Takumi, "Aoi, Erika, Takumi, get back, I'm serious!" I scan the place around, me, "Please! Get off that chair!" I tell the referee on the high metal chair, he hops off, I force as much electricity, as much as I could into the metal in that chair, the entire area lights up, I was basically crawling my way over to it, Toga and Dabi just laughing at my pain. "You..." I clutch my head, they press the button again and all the electricity bouncing of everywhere goes away, I run after them but they getaway into the forest, "Damn it!" I hit a tree next to me, "Yuki!" I hear the girls and Takumi, I walk away, "Hey guys, just give me a second, can you just... give me some space?" I walk back to the beach leaving them there.
