O L I V E ' S P O V
Mike, myself, and the rest of the Batistas pile into the car, talking about their day at school or a new hot topic. Nate asks everyone to put their seatbelts on, and we make our way out of the school's driveway. All I can think about now is 5:30 when I will go with Bella to her practice. When I get home, I have to find my practice clothes. I know it's not my practice, but I still want to wear my old practice clothes to feel like I'm really in the spirit.

Mike and Drake spark a conversation with me about my first day at school. I engage in the conversation, telling them how I think our English teacher is strict. I talk about how the girls during my gym class were being typical mean girls, including Rebecca.

"What's Rebecca's problem? I just got to the school, and she seems like she doesn't like me."

"Eh, you have to give her time to warm up to you. She's a little tough to get used to, though," Drake said with a small smile.

"Well, I'm trying out for the team tomorrow, and by the way she looks at me, I can tell she already doesn't want me to join."

"Don't worry. Even if she doesn't want you on the team, Coach Davis won't let her not accept you unless you suck," Mike said with a cheeky grin.

"Gee, thanks, Mike," I said, rolling my eyes.

Before I know it, we finally arrive home, and Nate is opening the doors to the car for everyone. He extends his arm out for everyone, and when I get to him, I thank him and beeline it to my room.

Looking at my watch as I step out of the elevator, I notice it's already 4:45 pm. Shoot, Bella will be here in less than an hour. I'm about to turn the corner to reach my room door when I bump into something hard. Tingles go through my body when I feel a pair of hands grasp both arms to prevent me from falling, and then I feel pain in my nose. Ouch, when did this wall get here?

I hear someone clear their throat, and I snap my head up. It's Austin, the Batistas' oldest, staring at me with an annoyed glare.

"Watch where you're going next time, will ya?" And just as fast as the tingles appeared, they disappeared when his hands released me.

I blink quickly, but Austin is already walking away. Taken aback, I couldn't even speak up to apologize to him or anything. I stared at him until he walked into the elevator, and I quickly walked towards my room, closing the door behind me.

I put my bag on my bed and quickly look for my cute teal and black Nike Pro shorts, my teal sports bra, and my old all-star shirt. Now if only I can think where I packed my cheer shoes. Dang it.

I rush into the bathroom, turning the water to the shower on and quickly hop in. I took the quickest shower I've ever taken. Getting out of the shower, I put my clothes on. It's already 5:20 by the time I'm done brushing out my hair. I pull it into a ponytail, grab my gym bag, and run to the elevator.

My phone vibrates as the elevator descends. Pulling it out, I see it's Bella.

Bella: I'm outside, hurry up. I picked us up some McDonald's!

Me: Ok ok, I'm on my way down!

The elevator dings open, and I sprint out of it and into the kitchen. I grab my water bottle and fill it quickly from the fridge as I tell Aunt Amalia my plans for the night.

"Try not to be home too late. Dinner will be in the microwave for you, Olive. Have a good night."

"Thanks, Aunt Amalia," I say, running out of the house.

I see Bella inside a sleek grey car. I'm not sure of the model, but the interior is red and spacious.

"You excited to go, Olive?"
