Betty POV:

"Your leaving me," I said tears forming in my eyes. The others have left, wanting us to have some space. She was leaving me in 3 days to travel. Why me?  My mom moved towards me on the couch but I scooted back, "Don't touch me," I said standing up and holding back my tears. Jughead reached over to me, but I backed away from him as well, "Just go, leave me, whatever. It's what your best at," I said running to my room. I slammed the door, and headed to my bathroom. I filled up the bathtub and sat in it. How could she leave? I love FP, but he's not mom. I just got her back as my mom, after losing her so much. I mean I'll be used to it, but I'll miss her. I was crying so much, I didn't hear the knock on my door. I felt familiar hands on my shoulders when I turned around. "Hey baby, are you ok?" Jughead asked me with worry in his eyes. I shook my head. He lifted me out and helped me get dressed. He laid me down on my bed and started to leave, "No stay please," I said reaching for him. He walked over and climbed on the other side of my bed, "I'll never leave you." He wrapped me up in his arms and kissed my forehead, "I'm sorry Betty." I shrugged, "It's fine. I'll get used to it. Your dads a good dad anyway." He looked at me, "It's not fine, but I'll be here whenever you need me." I smiled and wrapped my arms around him, "I love you," I said. He smiled and pulled me closer, "I love you too." I didn't fall asleep right away. I could not stop thinking about my mom. First my dad left and now my mom. What's wrong with me? Do I drive people away? Am I going to drive Jughead away. I clenched my fingers into my palms. It's something I used to do for awhile, but I stopped. I don't want to start it up again, but I can't help it. I wrapped my arms more tightly around and he did the same. I slowly fell asleep, with every worry never leaving my head,

Jughead POV:

I woke up with Betty wrapped around me, her legs wrapped around my torso, while one arm is wrapped around, and the other on my chest. She was so cute.  I heard a knock, and I quietly said, "Come in." Alice walked in, "Is she ok?" I shook my head, fighting the urge to yell at her, but Betty was sleeping. Alice sighed, "I'm sorry." I shook my head, "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to her," I said motioning to Betty. Alice nodded and walked out. Betty stirred, and I hugged her. It was a school day, but I didn't know if she wanted to skip. It won't make a difference for school. We might as well drop out, but I don't think dad will let us. I shook her softy, "Hey baby, do you wanna get up and go to school, or stay home." She groaned softy, "Can't we just stay here forever?" I nodded, "Whatever you want." I kissed her temple and she snuggled close. We fell asleep and woke up a little later. She was now laying on me and I moved a little and Betty moved her head and rested her chin on my chest. "Hey babe, you wanna get up," I asked.  She shook her head, "No, I'm comfy," she replied wrapping herself around me. I whined, "But I'm hungry." She playfully punched me, "Then go get some for yourself." I started to get up, "No don't leave me," she whined, pulling me back. "I'll make us some food in a little bit," she said. I chuckled, "Fine." We laid there a little more talking, "Are you sure your ok?" I asked. She shook her head, "I don't want her to leave, but I know your dad is a much better parent than my mom." I moved her hair out of her face, "I'll be here if you ever need me," I told her. She nodded and slowly got up, "I'm hungry now, so lets get dressed." I went to my room and threw on sweats and a sweatshirt. I heard Betty yell, "Jug, Can I borrow a sweatshirt, mine are dirty." I chuckled to myself, I took my sweatshirt off, and grabbed a different one. I met her halfway through and handed her my sweatshirt. She threw it on and went downstairs.

Third Person POV:

Betty went downstairs and ran into her mom. Jughead came downstairs and saw the standoff between them. He walked over and slipped his arm around her waist. She moved closer to him. "Betty I-" her mom tried to say but Betty cut her off, "It's fine whatever." She walked to the kitchen and started making food. It was too late for breakfast so she made an early lunch. She was silent throughout the entire thing. Jughead didn't want to push her, so he let her be. Alice left, because she couldn't deal with Betty right now. Betty put the grilled cheese and tomato soup on the table and sat down, across from Jughead. (Ok so you can judge that meal, but that was my childhood meal) "Betty Please talk to me," Jughead said. Betty looked up with tears in her eyes, "I don't want her to leave, Jug. Everyone leaves me. First my dad, Veronica, and now my mom. It's only a matter of time before you leave me." Jughead walked over and picked her up, he walked over to the couch and sat down. She had her face in the crook of his neck crying. "Betty look at me," he said. Betty looked up at him, "I will never leave you." She smiled sadly and curled up on his lap. Maybe he's right. He'll never leave me. But what if he will?
