2 days later
Griffins POV:
"Good morning beautiful" I say to Dixie when she wakes up I like to do everything I possibly can to remind her I love her.
"Good morning" she replies
"You ready to go to my hometown" I say
"Yeah" she says
"I'll call and Uber" I say
"Okay" she says
I had already told my parents I was bringing my girlfriend they said my little brother would pick us up from the airport.
"The Ubers here dix" I say
"Ok" she says
I grab her bag for her and set it in the Uber
We get to the airport and go through security what Dixie didn't know is that I had gotten us first class tickets.
we got on the plane and then Dixie seen that we had first class tickets
"Why do you do all of this for me griffin" she says
"Because I love you"
"You don't need to do this to show that you love me" she says
"I just like to treat you I guess"
"Thanks griffin" she says
On the plane we talked about our lives before tik tok and stuff.
Dixies POV:
I loved having conversation with griffin I felt he actually listened and understood. We got off the plane
"My brothers right there" he says to me
We walk up to him
"Graham this is my girlfriend Dixie, Dixie this is my brother graham"
"Hi Dixie" graham says
"Hi graham" I say
Then we talked in the car and drove to griffins parents house. We walked inside I was nervous to meet his parents.
"Mom dad this is my girlfriend Dixie, Dixie this is my mom and dad" griffin says
"Dixie it's nice to meet you" his parents say
"Nice to meet you to mr and mrs Johnson"
They have dinner for us and we talked for a bit.
"You guys can stay in the guesthouse in the back" griffin's parents said
"Thank you" I reply
We got our bags and put them in their guest house which was like a small apartment.
I leaned on griffins shoulder and asked what he used to do here
"I used to fish on the lake with that old paddle boat and I would ride my dirt bike with my brother there is a track back past the woods"
He says.
"Want to go on the lake and watch the sun set" he says. I watch griffin take this paddle boat and put it in the water
"Get in" he says
"ok" I say we get in the boat and he paddles to the middle of the lake
"You had this lake all to yourself as a kid" I ask
"There is a couple people on the other side but it's hunting property" he says
"Are you cold you have goosebumps"
"Yeah but it's fine"
"Here you can have my sweatshirt" he says
"But you'll be cold" I say
"I'm fine" he says
"Ok then" I say and he gives me his sweatshirt and I put it on. The sun was setting and then griffin kissed me it was perfect like in a movie. After the sun set Griffin paddled back to the dock and we went into the guest house.
"Do you want to watch a movie" he ask
There were a shelf of movies then a tv right in front of the bed.
"Sure" I say
"What movie" he asks
"I don't care you pick" I say
"This was my favorite movie as a kid" he says
"What is it" I ask
"Fast and the furious 6" he says. He starts the movie then puts his arm around me and I lay my head on his chest then we fall asleep.
Griffins POV:
"Good morning beautiful" I say when Dixie wake up
"Good morning" she says
"My parents have breakfast at the house" I say
"Ok you can go over now I have to take a shower" she says
"Ok" I say I go to the main house
"Your girlfriend seemed nice" my parents say
"She more than just nice everything about her is great" I tell them
"I have every intention of marrying that girl she is special" I say
"You finally found the one, that's how I felt when I met your mom" my dad says
"Well here she comes" I say
"Hey dix" I say when she walks in
"Hi griffin, hi mr and mrs Johnson" Dixie says
"Hi Dixie" they tell her
"Have some pancakes" my mom tells us we eat and talk then I take Dixie outside to the garage.
"Before I moved to la I had this drift car that I've been working on since I could drive my brother said he would finish it and he did, now I want to drive it since I never got to" I tell her
"Get in" I say
We drove to an abandoned store parking lot and I drifted really fast so I could scare Dixie and I think it worked.
"Griffin don't scare me like that please" Dixie says. We headed back to the garage.
"Dixie get on the dirt bike I want to take you somewhere" I say
"Ok" she says
Dixies POV:
I sit on the back with griffin in the front and I put my arms around him.
"Just lean with me and hold on" Griffin says
"Ok" I say. He goes through a trail and then he stops
"Get off" he tells me then he grabs my hand and walks me through the woods then there is a crystal clear bay where you can see the fish swimming it was beautiful.
"What do you think dix" Griffin says
"It it's beautiful, how did you find this" I say
"I liked to explore as a kid" he says
Then gives me a kiss. And we talk for about an hour.
"Want to head back dix" Griffin says
"Sure" I say we walked back to the dirt bike
"Sit in front this time dix" he says
"Ok" I say
"Just don't lean back" he says
"Ok"
We start to go through the trail then at a straight away he holds me closer and does a wheelie. I surprisingly not that scared I felt it was because griffin was holding me.
"You like that dix" Griffin says I just giggle then we get to the garage. He grabs my hand and we walk inside and spend the rest of the day with his family since we leave tomorrow morning. Later when griffins parents go to bed we go back to the guest house and go to bed .
