Griffins POV:
"Come on dix we need to clear our heads" I say
"Ok" she says we walk to a chick fil a and get some lunch and just relax and talk we even made a tik tok.
"Do you want to walk through the park" Dixie says
"Sure" I say
We walk through the park and just enjoy the view then go back home and Dixie takes another nap I think it's just mentally draining her. Then I got and idea we were supposed to leave tomorrow I'll trade our plane tickets to Florida and we can go on a cruise there and have a good time I'll get Addison, Bryce, charli ,chase, Anthony, and Avani to come so I asked them and we would get their 2 days earlier ourselves and then they would come down the day of the cruise. I asked Dixies parents if it was ok with them and they said yes. Then I realized we would just have to buy clothes their because we just brought enough clothes for here. Then Dixie wakes up
"Hey dix" I say
"Hey griff" she says then gives me a kiss on the head
"Do you want to grab some dinner anything you want" I say
"There's a Mexican restaurant near that I always would go to as a kid" she says
"Well do you want to go there" I say
"Sure" she says
"Alright lets go" I pick up Dixie and carry her down the stairs as she laughs then tells me to stop. I set her down then we walk to the restaurant
"Table for 2" I say to the waitress
"Ok right this way" she says me and Dixie follow her
"I'll be back to get your orders" she says and walks away
"Hey dix" I say
"Yes" she says
"I'm sorry, for this you don't deserve this" I say
"Griffin it's my fault too, please don't beat yourself up over this" she says and I feel a bit better but not quite I feel awful Dixie didn't deserve this. She smiles at me and it makes me happy
"What do you want to eat dix" I say
"I'm not that hungry so I was just going to get nachos" she says
"I'm not that hungry either do you just want to split the nachos" I say
"Sure" she say
"Love you dix"
"Love you too" she says then I hold her hand
"Do you guys know what you want to order" the waitress says
"Yes" I say
"Ok what would you like she says"
"Just nachos" I say
"Ok it will be right out"
Dixies POV:
I was feeling a bit better about this whole situation but I was still scared griffin held my hand across the table and our food came we ate and started walking home.
"Griffin" I say
"Yes" he says
"When you found out I was pregnant did you want to leave me" I ask
"No why would you think that I would leave you dixie your amazing your kind your beautiful inside and out" he says which makes me love him even more.
"Really" I say
"Yes of course" he says then puts his arm around me and holds me close I kiss him on the cheek and say
"I love you"
"I love you too" he says. we get home and my parents are on the couch
"Hi guys" they say to me and griffin
"Hi" we say
"Can we talk" they say
"Yes" we say
"Becoming a parent is a big step in your life and its an even larger step for you guys" my dad says
"We know and we're gonna figure it out" I say
"You guys are at the top of social media right now but what happens when your child is being posted on tik tok room and stuff" my mom says
"We know are child will probably not get to have an average childhood like us but it will be ok" we say
"Ok" they say and go back on the couch. We walk upstairs and go play charli's Xbox since I didn't have one and Griffin was trying to teach me how to play war zone. Then it got late and we went to my room and I took a shower and got ready to go to bed laid down then Griffin got in the bed and put his arms around my stomach
"good night dix, love you" he says
"Good night, I love you to" I say
