Lola was just a simple 17 year old girl, there wasn't anything special about her. She had good friends, a boyfriend, and she was always well behaved; there wasn't anything else she needed.
Though, overtime, her boyfriend Justin started to become obsessed with Lola, and jealous over how much time Lola and her best friend, Mariabella, would spend together.
Whenever Justin tried to convince Lola to spend less time with her, she refused. Justin tried everything to split the two of them up, from false rumors, to trying to injure Mariabella.
When nothing worked, he became enraged, and decided to make his final move.
The next day, Mariabella didn't show up to school. Lola called her and texted her what seemed like thousands of times that day, and when she didn't get an answer, a dreadful feeling came over her.
Once school was over, Justin told Lola to meet him behind the building. Lola met him there, but she noticed her boyfriend seemed off.
Lola asked Justin why she wanted them to meet here, and he told her that he needed to tell her something very important; so he told her what he did to Mariabella. He killed her, so that he could have Lola all to himself, and so nobody would be between them any longer.
Once Lola heard the words that came out of Justin's mouth, she became enraged, and yelled at Justin about how much she hated him while she cried. Justin didn't take this lightly, and lashed out at Lola. That day he swore that he would make her life a living hell for turning away his love, and with that he left.
As time went on, Justin kept his promise and had tried to frame Lola for Mariabella's murder. He spread the rumor through the school, and it caught on faster than ever, the whole school was now against her.
The police came to question students about the case not long after, and they all told them about Lola.
Lola told the police about Justin confessing to her friend's murder, and both Lola and Justin were convicted as suspects. Though they couldn't pin any evidence on either of them, so they were let go.
Once Lola was alone in her room, she cried. She cried and cried as much as she could, but she couldn't stop. All day, every day, she cried on and off. Her friends and family resented her for corrupting their image, and ruining their normal life with the case; and the nonstop crying.
Then one day, her eyes got so irritated from the crying that they began to bleed. She screamed and hollered in pain from the stinging she felt, but nobody came to help her. Blood wouldn't stop flowing from her eyes, and after an hour of unbearable pain, she ran away from the house, just wanting someone to help. Nobody helped her, and she ran until it had become night.
Lola found an alley and went in it, finding a big box to sleep in. She crawled inside and curled up into a ball, as she began to sob for the last time.
She cried over everything that happened in the past few months. Her best friend being killed, her family and friends abandoning her, and the thing that hurt her the most; the person she loved and trusted the most had betrayed her, by being the one to kill her friend and ruin her life.
That night, Lola died of a heart break, all alone. Though, things wouldn't be over for her, as she came back as a demon; finding souls who have suffered heartbreaks by a lover, and killing them painlessly to ensure they don't suffer the same fate as her. She takes care of their souls, and in return they help her find others who's hearts have been broken.
