" alright I'll be right over then "

That voice mattia swore he knew that voice

" hello "

M: oh sorry so I'll see you soon

" yep "

Mattia paced back n fourth in his room. He knew that voice. From his highschool years.

Ring

Mattia's doorbell rang

L: Dad, do you want me to get that.

M: sure lena

Mattia hurried to the door

" hi mr. pobilio im kai-"

Mattia cut him off. he already knew who he was

your kairi

K: mattia..

Mattia wrapped his arms around kairi as he embraced the fact that his old best friend was here.

L: uhh dad...you're going to be late for work

Mattia check the watch on his wrist to see what the time was.
He was going to be late. He pulled away from the hug and rushed out the door.

K: wanna braid each others hair.

Kairi didnt cut his hair but it stayed the same length

L: ya lets go to the lounge area

12:26 am

Mattia walked through the door of his house tired as ever.

He didnt see kairi or lena anywhere so he looked for him.

M: i hate having this big house. Its way too big

Mattia mumbled under his breath

He went into lena's room to find her there but no kairi. He gave up looking for kairi and went to his room. And there kairi was with his phone flashing a light onto his face

M: i see you found a comfortable bed

Mattia taunted

K: oh sorry i didnt know this was your room. I can leave and sleep on the couch.

M: its fine.

Mattia took off his shirt and pants and but on sweats. He got in bed next. Mattia was too tired to notice he was spooning kairi. He drifted off to sleep but he tightened his grip on Kairi's waist

Kairi's breath hitched. He looked at the sleeping boy and decided to relax into the hug.

8:00 am

Mattia woke up to his best friend snuggled in his chest. He patted his friends head making his eyes flutter open.

Kairi had realized what position they were in. He tried to pull away but mattia had pushed him back into his chest

M: stay
Mattia whispered in Kairi's ear. It sent chills down Kairi's spine. Mattia knew it did because he felt kairi shiver.

K: who's gonna make breakfast

M: Emily our chef

K: you have a chef

M: yesh now be quiet.

8:40 am

L: dad, Emily said the food is done

M: ok go eat

Mattia got up and then helped kairi up. They ate then went back to the bed.

K: dont you have to got to work

M: nope
