Y/N's POV
"Y/N, Jay will be teaching you how to use the nunchucks while I continue teaching B/F/N.' kai says, gesturing to Jay.
I had noticed Jay and Kai had gotten closer the past few weeks, but maybe it was just my imagination. I nod and walk outside.
"Ok," Jay hands me a pair of nunchucks. "Let's see what you think you can do first, then I will fix your mistakes."
I nod, taking the nunchucks.
"These nunchucks have foam wrapped around the metal bit, it shouldn't hurt as much if you hit yourself," Jay explains, pointing to the nunchucks in my hand. "Ok, go!'
I slowly started to swing the nunchucks around, not knowing what to do. I look up and give Jay an uneasy smile. He just chuckles and tells me to stop.
After around three hours, Kai and B/F/N come over and join us.
"How did you go?" I ask B/f/N.
"I have just gotten the hang of it, but I don't think I'll ever be able to use it as you do." she laughs.
"Jay makes using nunchucks look easy" I laugh.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, but I don't think You will improve much using the nunchucks." Jay laughs awkwardly.
"Don't worry, as long as I can swing them around, I should be fine," I reply.
He laughs.
"Well since Jay doesn't have to teach you anymore, you can go have a rest or watch," Kai tells me.
"Is it ok if I go?" I ask B/F/N.
She nods and I go to the kitchen.
-Huge Time Skip-
"Y/N, B/F/N, you two now have learnt how to fight without your elemental powers. now we must train you to reach your full potential." Wu says.
B/F/N and I nod and walk out of Wu's room and into our shared room.
"What do you think my elemental power is going to be?" B/F/N asks me.
"I don't know, but it's probably going to be cool!" I answer.
"But... What if I don't get an elemental power?" She asks, looking down at her hands.
I put my hand on her shoulder.
"I don't think it matters whether or not you have an elemental power. You are already strong!" I tell her.
She looks at me, smiling.
"Thanks, Y/N..." She replies, quietly.
Suddenly, Nya's peeks through the door.
"Guys! Dinner's ready!" She calls out.
"Kay' Nya, we're coming!" I say.
