She is his light. The only one who is able to see through his dark exterior and bring out his hidden emotions. He hasn't genuinely felt in ages and he doesn't plan to anytime soon...
I wake up early as the bright, sun rays hit my cheek and I stretch my legs out. I read the time, its 6:45am so I decide to do some exercises before uni starts at 8 am. I do some leg stretches and then focus on my abs. Half an hour later, I enter the shower and as I come out, I look in the mirror proud of myself and my body. I'm not too tall for a girl, my height being 5'6'' but my body is very muscular from all the training I've done in the past years. I have a nicely formed 6 pack and strong legs. My emerald green eyes are my most astonishing feature as they pop up from my normally tanned skin and balayage brown hair.
For my first day I decide to wear a black, off the shoulder top paired with a maroon colored skirt and above-knee socks. I think it's a cute outfit that at the same time doesn't scream RICH since I don't like showing off my pack's wealth. I believe that no matter what, we should remain humble and appreciate what we have, not just carelessly flaunt things around.

Lexi we still look sexy. I'm sure all the males will drool over us. My wolf added. The chance of meeting our mate are greater at Grand Mountain. I really want our soulmate. I'm sure he will treat us so good.
I hope so too. I grab my bag with all my notebooks and rush downstairs just as the scent of freshly baked goods and chocolate hits my nose. I quickly sit down as my mom turns around with a whole plate of pancakes.
"Oh my, Lexi you scared me. I didn't even sense your presence. Haha I missed this eager expression of yours. The boys don't appreciate my cooking as much as you." My mother exclaimed.
"Mom, I missed your cooking so much. Omg...this is so delicious. Can you pass me the chocolate, please?" I ask as I stuff my face with the delicious treat. At the same time Dex and dad join us at the table.
"Dex hurry up and eat. Just because you love to sleep so much and can barely wake up doesn't mean your sister has to suffer." Dad scolded him. "How will you handle waking up early when you become the alpha? Sometimes you won't even be able to sleep. Look at your sister, good thing she's an early bird. Hopefully she can find a way to wake you up quickly."
"Don't worry dad. Instead of taking cream with his morning coffee, I'll spray the cream on Dex's face. That will definitely wake him up." I joked around.
"Don't you dare! You know how much I love my morning coffee with cream. Besides why would you want to ruin this lovely face? My fan girl club will destroy you for it." He said smugly.
"Whatever floats your boat big brother." I say amused. He's always cocky but very protective of me. Our age difference isn't much, him being 3 years older than me yet still acts as a child but if there's an attack against me he would be the first to lay a punch when it comes to his baby sister.
"Now let's go or I'll really be late for class." We quickly finish up our breakfast and I kiss my parents goodbye. We jump into Dex's BMW and he speeds off to Grand Mountain where my hell awaits. As we approach the campus, I stare shocked at the beauty in front of me. It's huge!!!
