I've been having some thoughts and can't help but get angry at what I hear and see about a certain situation. So I decided to tell you a story but before I start I must warn you that my story will be cut into little parts due to the time restrictions that I have.
This is the story of my life and everything that has happened to me both good and bad. but don't worry you're not hearing my voice from a cassette or anything. I am not a ghost nor am I trying to pull a Hannah Baker on you. I'm simply writing so that you can understand that not everything you hear about me or my background on the news is true. I'm guessing I should start from the beginning. However, I should warn you it's a very complicated yet exciting adventure that waits before us. Before I begin I should introduce to you every character that has a role in my story right? Because that's how most stories work however I am only going to introduce four, for now since they're my partners in crime. As for the rest, you'll meet them when the time is right. Now before I begin I won't tell you any personal things about me maybe later on but for now you'll go in with a blank slate. Remember I am telling the truth and nothing but the truth. I don't know you nor do I need to impress you so I don't' have a reason to lie and you'll just have to trust me on this one. Trust what a funny word that has no meaning right....
Before I get ahead of myself let me introduce you to the four main characters in my life. My four characters that I will start off with will be Lucy, Haley, Nicole, and Katie Sound familiar? I know what you're thinking, " I don't need to read any longer because the whole world knows your story" right or do you know only what the media wanted you to know. Intriguing huh? I have no control over what you do so whether or not you choose to go on is up to you.
Remember what I said about going in with a blank slate. That is very important and it is the only way you'll be able to understand our story. Since you're going in with a blank slate, I won't tell you much about my friends except that they are very important to me and I will give you enough information so that you'll know their connection to me. Haley is my dear cousin and very close friend, Katie is my sister and best friend , Nicole is my best friend who I love like a sister. That means that the person that's telling this story is no other than...(drum roll please) that's right Lucy. I know what you're thinking that it can't be me because I'm not suppose to be alive... Well it's me in the flesh, Lucy. Now do you understand why I told you I wasn't pulling a Hannah Baker on you! BECAUSE I AM NOT DEAD!

I know that this story is sort of different and can be confusing so I hope that this will clear up a few things. Lucy and her friends have gotten themselves in some sort of trouble and the story is being told through Lucy's point of view. Lucy has to write her story through a blog and the reason for that will be explained later in the book. Some parts of the book will be explained through her blog and others as flashbacks but I will let you know when that happens.
