Webby's POV,

      "What the Fuck!", I heard Lena shout once more from my side, trying to stay on the road as a barrage of bullets flew at the car at the speed of light. I could hear glass shatter, and the ringing in my ears grew stronger and stronger at each bullet hitting something different, causing an unbearable pain that shot through my head. I guess they were right, shootings are a problem, but that doesn't solve the trouble we're in right now. I released my hands from the seat and cautiously put them over my ears securing them for anymore loud noise, but I released my hands from my ears once I realized we were half way on the road and half way not on the road, making me much more uneasy than I ever thought I could be. Next thing I know I feel a hand come up to my side, it felt like it was trying to grab onto my, but instead and fell to my seat belt buckle and unbuckled it, driving me more insane at the fact that anytime now we could crash. I grabbed ahold of the seatbelt and looked down trying to find the buckle but it was no where to be found, like it fell in-between the seat. So I held the seatbelt against my chest knowing that it probably wouldn't save me from anything, but at the moment I had to do whatever I could if it meant saving my life. I subconsciously turned back to see it everyone was holding in there, and to my utter horror I saw Huey, Dewey, and April all on the floor of the car trying to get something out of Louie's arm. I stared once longer and that was the moment I went flying, straight through the windshield and onto the ground, no sense of where I was at, I tried to get up but something rammed into me causing me to scream, one so shrill it would make ears bleed. "Webby! Lena!", I heard faint yells from the distance, soon enough the nausea and pain kicked in, causing me to scream more, I just wanted a release from all the pain, but I seemed to get worse with every second I stayed on the ground.

       To my luck I felt arms come and sweep me up from the ground, like I was a princess, except this princess feels as if she is going to die and she can hardly see, but resisted every urge to fall asleep. "Webby stay in there, we're gonna get some help, and you'll be okay", a super familiar female voice said, reminding me of all the times I spent cowering in my room, cutting myself, thinking that everything was going to end, but now I realize how petty that was and now I may actually die, not able to see anyone anymore not telling someone how I truly felt, and how trying to fix fights wasn't my thing and laugh about it like it was a silly video game. I wouldn't get that anymore, and it's all my fault, if I didn't act like such a baby and stayed strong like I did four years ago, none of this would be happening. Everyone said 'stay strong', 'hold in there', but it's all sounding like lies now, like people were trying to sugarcoat the truth from me like I was never capable of taking the truth, and I guess they were right the truth does hurt, maybe too much though. I could feel my breathe slipping from out under me, and I finally realized that this was the time, I needed to end it all, I needed to give in to the that sudden urge to fall asleep, save myself and everyone else from all that pain. So that's what I did, blocked out all sound that tried to keep me awake, and let myself go, letting all the pain go, letting all the hurt go. I fell asleep.

3rd Person

      Once May got back to the car, huddling everyone around the flipped vehicle, she placed Webby slowly on the ground, as paramedics came and started to give Webby CPR. "Will she be okay?", Louie asked, hope slipping from his voice, realizing that this situation has happened too many times. The younger looking paramedic turned his head to look at the Louie and said, "I don't know kid, it's as if she's gave up, but we'll do whatever we can to get her heart started again". Louie sighed and looked to his side seeing Huey and Violet cuddled up together, along with Dewey and April cuddled together, he turned his head back to look at Webby, and lacked the warmth from her, lacked her touch. June could see the emptiness that lined Louie's face, showing every bit of sadness gone, every bit of happiness gone, every bit of emotion gone, so she walked over to the empty duck and sat down next to him and wrapped her arm around him trying to comfort him. "June...will Webby ever get better?", Louie asked not realizing how harsh the actual words sounded to June, as she curled her face in shock. "What do you mean...?", June asked, hoping it wasn't what she thought it was, so in reassurance he said, "No, I mean will she wake up". June leaned her head on Louie's shoulder, resting her small head, before saying, "Knowing Webby, she will, she always does, she's one of the strongest people I've ever met". Louie softly laughed at the way that June thought of Webby, he also knew Webby was strong, but he didn't know how much Webby could take before she would actually break.

      Soon enough, everyone eyes shot towards Webby as she sat straight up inhaling so deeply, that it probably would've killed you, if you weren't about to already die. "Holy jesus", Webby said out, her eyes wide open as she scanned the area, her eyes landing on a particular set of people, making her tense up. She stared at Louie's right arm, that was in a sling, and Junes arm wrapped around him, her head resting on his shoulder, making her heart shatter, letting the broken pieces sent in to her empty chest. "I think we've gotten all the pieces of glass, and luckily you didn't sustain any serious injuries, just some minor ones, lots of bruises though", the older paramedic said as they grabbed their equipment and went to other ducks that had sustained injuries. Webby nodded and tried to stand up, but almost fell back down and to her luck she was caught by Lena, her face covered with cuts and road rash. "Thanks Lena", Webby said not looking up at Lena's face, as she limped over the flipped SUV. Webby sat down next to Huey and Violet who sat to her left, and May to her right, her heart still too broken to even confront Louie about what happened to him, but according to everyone else he got shot. "How are you doing", May asked her, trying to break the silence that sat in between them. Webby shrugged her shoulders before saying, "I'm staying in there", and turned her head to face May before smiling, thanking May for carrying her earlier. Webby turned her head back forwards, and was greeted by Louie who had moved sit in front of her. "Hey Webs", Louie said, receiving a, "Hey Lou", from Webby. "I love you Webby" Louie mumbled out moving to Webby's side, as Webby rested her head on Louie shoulder before saying, "I love you too".

Wow...sad...I think yEs. Next chapter should have more fluff in it, hopefully...honestly this is what I get for making a sad romance story;-;

Also if you haven't already check out my new book called 'In my head, Art, tags, Etc.' It literally is just me doing any tags, posting art, doing random memes, talking about myself. It's a good time. Anyway, have a good day and I hope you enjoyed the chapter❤️
