Louie's POV

Beep. Beep. Beep. I hear my alarm going off, is it really nine o' clock already, it felt like I only slept for two hours. Beep. Beep. Beep. "Argh...I'm getting up, I'm getting up!", I hiss, throwing my arm over to my alarm hitting the snooze button. I sit up on my bed and take a cold stare around my room waiting for my eyes to adjust to the unwanted brightness. "Hey Dew-", I stopped short realizing I was the only one in here. I took a deep breathe in and climbed out of bed, exhaling out. I quickly put on one of my grey shirts that I never wear, and opened the bedroom door. Quiet. It was strangely quiet in McDuck Manor, something bad happened last night after I went to bed. I carefully walked down the long flight of stairs, to hear the clinking of forks against plates. I walked into the kitchen and everyone's attention landed on me. "Hey guys", I said trying to break the unsettling silence. "Shut up Louie", was the one response I got back from Dewey, well jeeze.

"Good Morning to you too", I spoke with a slight hint of sarcasm. I sat down next to Huey and grabbed a plate of pancakes. The air was thick and the tension was high, what in the world happened. I took a slow careful bite out of my pancakes, not making a single person flinch. We sat like that for five minutes, no talking, nothing that would upset the irritated ducks that sat among me. "Are you guys serious, come on this is way too uncomfortable", Webby said, with too much confidence. Dewey shot Webby a nasty look, and Huey opened his mouth to speak but closed it once again. Then Huey finally found the words and said, "Don't act like your innocent Webby, you are apart of this too". Dewey nodded in agreement. "Can someone please fill me in!", I said confused and totally lost. "NO!", Dewey and Huey said at strangely the same time, I could already tell that it was going to be a long day.

After breakfast, Dewey and Huey walked out together and right before I walked out along with them, I was pulled aside by Webby.

"What is it Webs", I breathed out.

"Yesterday after you went to bed, Huey and Dewey got into an argument, over the snarky joke that set Dewey off earlier that night, that is why everyone is super quiet...", Webby spoke calmly.

"Oh...well ok, thanks", "I said before turning away.

"Wait!...I need to ask you a favor", Webby shot back quickly.

From the utter loudness in her voice I slowly turned back towards her, "What is it..?"

"Well...they seem pretty angry at each other-", she said as I cut her off.

"-and it's not going to get any better", I finished.

"Yea...I have a plan though", she looked at me straight in the eyes.

"Hit me with it", I smirked.

10 minutes later

"Ok, but since we both get one, which ones should be take", I said thinking.

"Well according from Dewey being a dick during breakfast towards you, I think I should take Dewey and you get Huey", Webby puffed.

"Alright I can live with that", I sighed.

"Good, we start as soon as possible", She smiled.

We high fived and walked out of the kitchen, like we were spies from NCIS. Lets get this plan into action.

Webby's POV

I'm glad that Louie agreed to help me because, if we don't do something Dewey and Huey are going to hate each other for the rest of their lives. I honestly don't know if this is going to work, since I was there while they were fighting, Dewey may not trust me. At the same time this will probably work too, since we both find out the inside details from both people, and me and Louie combine the data and come to a reasonable solution, it shouldn't be too bad. But we made one promise during this whole plan, 'Don't side with the person you're working with'. I was walking towards the living room when I heard granny call, "Webby, come help me with the dishes". I sighed and said, "Yes granny", and ran over to help her.
