Hermione's POV

It has now been a week since she cried on Harry's shoulder and everything was pretty much going back to the way it was before... but the scar wasn't healed, Hermione still had nightmares about her parents dying, but she didn't want to tell anyone not even Harry. She didn't want her two best friends to know about her nightmares, she already knew that they already had much to think of themselves. Right now they were sitting outside and the sun was shining. It was a hot and beautiful day and Hermione was sitting under a tree doing her favourite thing which was of course reading. She was reading about all the living creatures in the wizarding world and found it very interesting some monsters were of course more terrifying than others.

While finishing the last page in her book she heard a voice yelling "Hermione!" she looked up to see that it was Harry, "What's up to Harry?" Hermione asked, curious to see what he wanted to ask her. "So George, Ron, Ginny and me wondered if you wanted to play quidditch with us?" Harry asked, Hermione's heart raced and she didn't know why... she never really liked quidditch. She hated flying (mostly because she was bad at it) but she couldn't say no to those green emerald eyes, and that famous Harry Potter smile. "Okay, Harry... but you know that I don't like flying," Hermione replied. "It's okay Hermione I can maybe teach you a thing or two," Harry said, Hermione looked at him and then closed her book and walked over to him. "Well then let's go to the others".

After a few minutes, they came to George, Ron and Ginny who stood ready with their quidditch brooms. "Is Hermione going to play?" Ron asked. "Yes, she indeed is Ron" Harry replied. Hermione could see Ron was trying to hold back the laughter but then she caught his eyes and glared at him which made him stop completely. "So Ron you will pick first, and then I will pick last okay?" Harry said. "Okay mate, well then I will take Ginny," Ron said, Ginny then went over to Ron. "Well then I will take Hermione," Harry said, Hermione was in shock and she looked around confused and could see that Ron, Ginny and George were also confused, without saying a word Hermione went over to him and he was sending her a smile. "Well then I will take George, but this seems a bit unfair mate," Ron said. "Well, maybe but we'll survive right Hermione?" Harry said looking at her, and I nodded back. We walked over to our side of the pitch and then Harry said "Hermione we have zero chance of winning but I want you to know that we are losing together, but let's lose with style okay? I nodded but was entirely sure what he meant by that, I sat on the broom and I was feeling the fear in my body and I wanted so bad to just throw the broom away from me, but Harry's eyes calmed me down and I sat on the broom and slowly but safely went up in the air.

They landed after a hard quidditch game, they have just lost 70-200 but for Hermione that meant nothing, she went directly after the game over to Harry and hugged him and thanked him for learning her how to control and fly on a broom, she after that went over to the same tree spot to read, but this time not alone... Harry was with her. They were silenced most of the time but that didn't bother Hermione, she liked it and she felt even safer with Harry by her side, he was her best friend after all... best friend funny word... it just didn't feel right for Harry anymore, but she stopped herself right there and went back to her book.

Harry POV:

Harry was watching Hermione reading, and also read a bit even though he wasn't the biggest reader, but he found it somewhat enjoyable... he didn't know why because it was usually not a feeling he would get while reading... he always hated it but right now it was different. Harry's relationship with Hermione is also different but different in a good way... he loved her more than ever had before... how could he have been so blind? But now it was like he had got new glasses... that could see how beautiful he actually was, but the thing he hated the most right now was that he was in a relationship with Ginny. It wasn't because it was bad... but their relationship had become so different since they broke up last year... Now they were back together but it felt forced and wrong... the first weeks with her were brilliant, but now it seemed like they were growing away from each other. But they still haven't broken up, Harry was too afraid to do it... to hurt Ginny's feelings. "What's wrong Harry?" Hermione asked out of nowhere which shocked Harry a bit, "Nothing Hermione... just thinking..." Harry answered. "Well good to see that the brain of yours actually works" Hermione teasingly replied. Harry just smiled and hit her playfully on the shoulder, "Ouchh" Hermione said, "Oh come on that could not have hurt you" Harry replied laughing a bit. "It did a bit, want to go inside?" Hermione asked. "Sounds good to me," Harry said, and they began walking in.

Hermione's POV

Hermione and Harry walked into where the other Weasleys were sitting talking about the rebuilding of Hogwarts (Which Hermione was really excited about and definitely wanted to return) so she decided to join the conversation, but she noticed that Harry was very quiet... too quiet. Hermione could see that something was bothering him... and she knew that it had something to do with the war... maybe he wasn't going to return after all.

After an amazing dinner from Mrs Weasley (As always) Hermione and Ginny went into Ginny's room to have some girl time, which they haven't had in a long time. They did each other's hair and all the other things that girls do, they made jokes about boys and how they were idiots, and after an hour of joking, Mrs Weasley came in and told them that it was time to go to bed and so they did...
