"Can you pass me the salt? It's in the first drawer to the left," Jin instructs Namjoon, who has been sitting by the kitchen isle to watch the elder cook their dinner.

"Sure, hold on," Namjoon gets up to get the requested seasoning. Jin hums after tasting a bit of the soup he's currently making. He stirs the food with his left hand while his right grabs his phone to look at the clock.

It's past 6 pm, so he's wondering where Jungkook and Taehyung are. Jimin is in his room with Yoongi, so he doesn't mind them. Normally, Taehyung texts him when he and Jungkook stay out this late, clarifying if they are eating at home or not.

Are you coming home for dinner? Jin sends a text message before locking the screen and placing it back on the counter. He starts humming to the music that's playing in the background as he feels a pair of arms around his waist.

Namjoon really has a fetish for his waist.

The younger places the salt before the pot and Jin chuckles before grabbing it and adding the needed amount.

"You look very hot like this," Namjoon mumbles.

"Like what?"

"All, you know, housewife-ish," he teases, earning a small punch in the stomach by the elder's elbow.

"Enjoy it while it lasts," Jin fires back, but he can't help smiling. He feels so comfortable in the other's arms. So much he's starting to doubt that he will ever be able to let Namjoon go, even though it's what he should do.

He feels a pair of lips on his neck, giving small pecks to the delicate skin. Namjoon tightens his grip around the other's stomach, holding on to him for dear life.

"You're so cute," he mumbles against the skin. He just loves praising the elder, mostly because every time it makes a small shock run through Jin's body, so he flinches just that little bit that makes Namjoon smile fondly. Not to mention his burning cheeks.

"Go set the table," Jin quickly dismisses the subject and playfully pushes the other slightly away. Namjoon pouts but does as instructed.

Jin turns back to the phone on his table, turning it on to check if he has received any notifications. But much to his dismay, there's still nothing.

It's not like Taehyung to leave him on read like that. Maybe he should give him a call.

After debating if he might disturb something happing between the two youngers, he settles on calling. He's totally calm, but he can feel that small bit of anxiety knock in the back of his heart.

He quickly finds the number and clicks call, pressing the device against his ear. And then he waits.

Namjoon starts putting the plates on the table, dancing along to the music. He puts plates out for 7 people, Hoseok said he will be joining too. Rose, on the other hand, is still staying over at a friend's apartment.

Back in the kitchen, Jin removes the phone from his ear while frowning. It's rare, as in very rare, for Taehyung not to pick up the phone. He always has sound on unless he's in school, it has always been like that.

"Namjoon?" he calls the other who turns and looks at him.

"What is it?"

"Do you have Jungkook's number?"

"Yeah, I can remember it," the younger states, before he starts saying the numbers, and Jin types them in before calling the raven. It beeps for a little while, but luckily Jungkook picks up. Jin feels himself sigh slightly in relief.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jungkook, it's Jin."

"Oh hey Hyung, what's up?" the other asks. There's some noise in the background, sounding like someone talking or singing.
