chapter 6

"So you can either tell me what's going off or I can pry it out of you."

I looked at Josh, trying to see if they would let up or if they were going to sit there until they got an answer. He didn't look like he was going to give this up. I was silent for a while, trying to think of what I could tell them without outing myself. "We just, haven't spoken in a while, that's all."

Josh gave me a 'really?' look. "That's the worst excuse you could have possibly come up with, that would have worked for being awkward around her, but that's not what you were doing."

I took a deep breath and suddenly thought of something. It wasn't lying either, and as long as they didn't want a reason I wouldn't have to out myself. I looked around, all the doors were shut and no one was in ear shot as far as I could tell. "Okay fine. I don't want her to get with Bryce."

"Why not?"

I was stumped. I didn't have a reason other than that I liked Addison but I couldn't tell them that. If I said it was because I didn't like her I'd seem fake and he might tell her and I didn't want her to fall out with me. "I just....don't think they'd be..right for each other. I mean, he's this big party animal who's drinking all the time and she's more... go out for dinners at fancy restaurants or go for pedicures."

"If they're not right for each other they should work that out for themselves, and hey, you never know, sometimes opposites attract."

After Josh had finished talking Bryce and Quinton walked out and sat down. "Where's Addison, we've got to be leaving in a minute."

"I'll go check." I got up and walked towards the door of the room that we had slept in, I opened it and Addison was just picking up her jacket, "I'm coming, I'm coming." She followed me out of the room and Bryce, Quinton and Josh got up to leave. Quinton picked up the car keys and went outside with Josh and Addison. Bryce came over and hugged me, "About what you said last night, I'll always accept you and be here for you. I won't be back till late but when I do get back we can talk if you'd like." he smiled at me and I smiled back, I was just worrying about the photoshoot, putting Addison and Bryce together in a shoot would be a good publicity stunt but it would also be pushing them both closer together and I'm not sure how I'd handle it. Bryce said bye and ran out to the car then Quinton drove off. When everyone else was ready we went out to the other car and Jaden drove us home. I was sat in the passenger seat looking out of the window and singing to myself when I felt a hand on my thigh, I looked over to see Jadens' arm reaching down to my leg, they looked at me and smiled before looking back at the road. I turned back to the window and just watched the buildings pass until we started to go up the drive to sway. I looked out of the front windshield and couldn't believe my eyes, as Jaden was pulling up I threw open the door and jumped out of the car. I ran up to Tayler and jumped in his arms, hugging him, she laughed and hugged me back, "Hello, stranger." "I've missed you so much Tay! Bryce is at a photoshoot." He put me down on the ground, "I know, I came here to see you, I saw your instagram post." Jaden finished parking the car and got out, "You're fucking insane! I'm putting the child lock on next time I drive you anywhere."

I'm kind of stuck for the next chapter, I've got an idea I just don't know how to start it off, so have this for now. x
