Eliza's 1st birthday

Time flies by so quickly tomorrow it is
my not so little baby girls 1st birthday and I am not even half ready. Brad honey I need your help I shout from the kitchen as I am baking a birthday cake I need the house decorated and the gift bags sorted the food for tomorrow and it is 12pm I can not wait till my family come round at 3pm as everyone will be helping me out to make this the best birthday any 1year old girl will have.i am glad that brad is helping me with looking after Eliza at the moment he is a real sport this is why I love him. Oh my today's the day of my baby girls 1st birthday cake and decorations are done presents are wrapped and hidden all we need to do is make sure the food and house is ready for our guests that are coming in less then 1hour.....Shit! Brad....brad.....brad honey help me we have less then 1hour till the guests arrive brad shouts from the kitchen relax Jen babe everything is fine me and your mum and that have been doing the kitchen the house and food since 6am I wanted to let you sleep in all you need to do now is just get yourself ready you sexy minx. I am so glad I have brad as my husband or I would have fallen apart. In bathroom have to get ready shower checked make up done hair done and in a wonderful dress now i am ready for the party. "Ding dong" the doorbell rings I wonder who that could be Eliza I say to her as I go to the door oh look it's John and josh the twins from next door :). Eliza has a little crush on josh as I can tell bless her little cotton socks. As the time went on it was 4pm in the afternoon "man I'm shattered " brad said to me you and me both babe I said back and look likes someone's even more shattered looking at Eliza fast asleep in her bed(cot) don't think we will here a peep out of her till morning 7pm we have dinner and what do you know Eliza's still fast asleep by 8pm I'm already in bed at 8:15pm I fall asleep until morning. The next day I still can't believe my little girl is 1 already where has the time gone Christmas is just around the corner and 2020 is to... wonder what next year will be like I say under my breath as I gather things ready for breakfast will it be like this year or will it be totally life changing.. no one will know until the year actually arrives. A few months later man I can't believe Christmas is next week where has the time gone before you know it we will be in 2020 I rush about the shops to get the last few bits for Christmas Day. Turkey I already have and all the trimmings desserts ingredients I already have elizas and brads presents I already have the rest of the family's presents I already have what am I missing think think think oh gosh yeah wrapping paper!! How could I forget that mind you I have not been feeling myself the past few weeks maybe I should get a pregnancy test and see if I am pregnant or not as I am forgetting things again like I was when I was first pregnant with Eliza. Back at home after shopping I rush upstairs to the bathroom and take the test and wait for a few mins it says positive. I wonder what brad will say and the rest of my family of my announcement of expecting a second child. I am happy and excited but at the same time nervous and scared of what everyone will say. Jen honey I'm home says brad come down babe dinner's ready as brad sets the table with Nando's takeaway i gather myself and head downstairs to eat dinner as I am eating I say brad babe there's something I need to tell you... brad says what is it darling..... I go... I... am... Pregnant..... brad says omg really jumping up and down with joy I say yeah found out today that I am 5-6 weeks pregnant. I can't believe how quick the weeks have gone Christmas Day is here tomorrow and I am panicking as I haven't even sorted out the guest bedrooms yet for all of my family and brads family to come and stay for the holidays and they are arriving less then 3hours brad where are you I need your help family will be arriving in less then 3hours I call for brad and he says in guest bedroom number 4 sorting out the bed I have been up since 6am sorting all the guests rooms whilst you had a lie in and looking after Eliza just as I was going to guest bedroom number 5 the phone rings and I answer to find out my mum and family will be arriving in 10 mins time then after I Finished with her phone call my mother in law calls saying they will also be arriving in 10 mins time I then shout and say brad everyone will be here in 10 mins time how many more rooms have you got left to do he says just 1 more room then I'm done I shout ok honey. I Finnish sorting out the kitchen and sitting room made sure I looked nice and Eliza then the bell rings and I answer the bell and all the family are out on the porch I invite them in ask how there drive was and offered them drinks and snacks as it was 3pm In the afternoon and we started to play some games when all of a sudden brad shouts Jen honey have you seen Eliza and what she has been up to bringing her downstairs with her hair all over the place I say what has she been doing brad laughing at the same time well she managed to find your red hair dye babe and put it in her hair saying Christmas hair. Her grandmother screams in fits of laughter and says oh Eliza dear what are you like my little munchkin. It's now 10pm at night everyone apart from me is asleep I am making sure I have everything ready for tomorrow as it is Christmas Day by 11pm everything is ready and I go and fall asleep next to my amazing hubby the alarm goes off it is 8am on Christmas Day by 11am presents have been opened and roast dinner is nearly ready at 13:00 we are eating our roast dinner and having lots of laughs and fun with family by 15:00 everyone starts to chill out watching tv and just relax before everyone goes to sleep ready for Boxing Day and Boxing Day sales. Well now it is New Year's Eve time really does fly by wonder what 2020 will bring us only time will tell I hope nothing bad will happen.....
