"Why me why me why me?!?!?!?!" Annie thought to herself.
Annie was fighting with her mind, causing more stress than ever. She needed to calm down so she took her room card, put on her blue jacket and headed outside.
"I just need some air, yea that's it I just need some air," she thought to herself as she walked down the staircase.
"The sunset looked so pretty," Annie quietly said to herself.
The sunset made her feel more calm and relaxed as if all of her problems have already disappeared, but unfortunately they were still there and this was just a feeling.
Annie went to go sit on a bench to admire the sunset. This made her remember the time her brother took her outside to see the sunset, it was her very first sunset back then and she enjoyed every second of it. She was three years old back then so she would be sitting on her brother's shoulders so she could see over their huge cherry tree. The cherry tree also reminded her of how she and her whole family were coming up with some ideas to prevent the birds from eating all the cherries, they tried everything they could: broom whacking machines, poping nosies from her brother's speakers, a scarecrow, but none of it worked.
"But then I came up with the idea to make a huge net," she thought to herself
"My family was too busy thinking of huge ideas that they forgot about the simple things."
She was five back then and she was seen as a smart and happy person by her family and friends. However, Annie remembers that none of her friends are with her now and that she is all alone at her new school.
"I could try to make friends, but I would screw that up as well," she quietly told herself.
"But, I haven't even tried yet!" She thought to herself feeling a little braver.
"Yea I just screwed up one person's life not the whole school's," she told herself a little louder this time.
"And idk maybe people will like me, and I will never have to feel those waves of melancholy ever again!" She shouted to the grass
She stood up and shouted "I WILL NEVER KNOW UNTIL I TRY!!!!" at the sky, letting out an echo across the whole school.
Then her stomach growled.
Annie stayed silent for a while and then quickly sat down. She turned around to look at the clock on the dorm wall, it was 6:55pm.
"Oh yea I need to get to the lunch hall," she thought as she got up and ran to Unity Central( or U.C for short).
When she got through the doors of the building she found herself into a warm room where there were loads of students were in a different room seated at tables, next to that room was the kitchen which has a couple of students in there scanning their fingers on a machine for whatever was happening in there.
