Chapter 1

I wake up to the sound of my alarm at 10:00 am. I violently shut it off and grunt as I get out of bed. I hate getting up in the mornings. After getting my clothes, I stumble my way to the bathroom. For the interview I wanted to look professional, so I picked a tight black shirt with long sleeves, black jeans and dress shoes. I get ready in the bathroom and then walk downstairs. I am greeted by my mother who has surprised me with breakfast. "Oh my Changkyun, you look amazing! So handsome!" I smile and hug her. "Mom you didn't have to make me breakfast. I could've got something-" "No need Kyun, it's a big day for you, now sit and eat." I do as she says and start eating my pancakes. I really need this job. I need to get out of my moms house and get my own apartment. If I do get this job I could pay off my student loans. "You're going to do great Changkyun." My mother says with a warm smile. "Thank you, I'm a little nervous." I say between bites. She sits down next to me at the dinner table and gently pats my head. "It's okay to be nervous. It's a huge company, lots of rich people work there." I nod in response. "Just don't act worried, be confident and kind." I smile and tell her thank you. After I'm done eating breakfast I kiss my mom goodbye and walk out the door. I get in my moms car, then type in the destination into my phone. "Only 15 minutes away, not bad." I whisper to myself. When I finally get into the city, I see all the beautiful buildings and how tall they are. Lots of people in suits and formal dresses walking everywhere. I put into the parking lot next to next where I may be working. My phone suddenly buzzes and I see that it is a text from Minhyuk.
