kairi couldn't help but stare at himself in the mirror, he really did look like a girl. wtf? i look like a girl? i hate it here. he thought. he let his thoughts run as the maids put hair extensions in his hair, and high heels on his feet. it wasn't long until everything was ready.
ale lead kairi out of the room. ready to execute his plan.
"ok, i'm gonna tell you what you have to do. alright?"
kairi just nodded.
"it's simple. you know the minute details. but, we will make the trip to the western kingdoms. once we get there, we'll introduce you as the princess of the southern kingdoms. you will go to tea with the prince. you are to come straight back here afterwards. this will continue until further notice."
"wait wait wait, i have to have tea with him?" kairi exclaimed grumpily.
"kai...we've been over these things." ale responded with a stern tone.
kairi didn't even bother to respond. he simply started towards the vehicle outside of their palace. which wasn't easy, as he had no training with walking in high heels. this made his dramatic walk away, a little less dramatic as he kept falling every three steps. that didn't please him, especially the part where he could hear alejandro laughing at him from behind. (allow me to do a quick time explanation. although these are kingdoms founded a while back where normally you might travel in a carriage or some sort, this is a modern day au. so these kingdoms still exist. though they happen to be more modern and such.)
once he reached the front plaza, with many falls, stumbles, and cursing out loud, he entered a long limousine with alejandro right behind him. they sat across from each other in the car. alejandro was explaining what to do, and what not to do, while meeting the prince.
"always be polite. don't talk back, curtsy, don't trip over yourself because i won't be there to pick your ass up. don't talk about the weather or something, that's so stupid. oh and here's these." alejandro said pulling out two oranges from the built in fridge allong the walls of the limo.
"what are these for?" kai asked.
ale coughed a little, trying to conceal his laughter. then he continued to point towards his own chest.
"WHA-" kairi yelped.
"uh yeah"
"do i have to?" he said glaring at alejandro.
"well, yes. we don't want our northern princess to be little miss a cup, now do we?" he pointed out with a smirk.
"mmm" was the noise kairi let out.
"you might as well be a girl dude." alejandro chose to ignore the comment.
he opened up the top of the frilly light blue dress he was wearing, right by his chest, pirching the two oranges inside. wiggling around trying to get used to them being there. all while ale giggled in the corner of the car.
-----
they had arrived at the southern palace, and couldn't help but stare in amazement at how beautiful the village and the palace itself was. white roses lined the pavement, like a pathway to the beautiful marble steps leading to the entrance.
"shitshitshitshit" ale started saying, slurring all the words together. kairi was quickly by his side
"what's wrong ale? do we need to call a doctor? hey mr-"
"kai it's not that, i'm fine. just, what if this plan doesn't work?"
"fuck you alejandro. that's my line bro" kairi retorded with a smirk. this made alejandro smile. he straightened his shoulders and looked to the younger boy.
"you're right."
they smiled at each other and nodded reassuringly. once the driver stopped in front of the huge marble palace and staircase, kairi sighed.
"guess that's it." his heart was racing so fast he thought it was gonna run right out of his chest, lap him, and then call him a loser. after all, he was the one with oranges on his chest, high heels on his feet, and extensions in his hair.
he nodded to ale right before stepping out of the car, ale of course had to call out something embarrassing as he watched his best friend walk out.
"don't drop the oranges!" he screamed out the window as the car was driving away. kairi just shook his head, let out a small laugh, and smiled while muttering a playful i hate you.
he took his time walking up the marble staircase, he really didn't want to make a fool of himself. he knew he would eventually, but he rather it not be on the first day, especially not walking up stairs. once he reached the top, he took a deep breathe before ringing the palace doorbell. he heard the noise echo through the walls. then he listened to the sound of the door opening, revealing a man with what kind of resembled a bowl cut, a black suit with curtails and white gloves.
"hello, you must be princess kai?" he asked with a smile.
"o-oh yes, i am her-oh uh, i meant yes that's me." he stuttered. god damnit he thought.
little did he know, that watching his whole awkward situation, was mattia. aka the prince of the western kingdoms.
------
hm, she's not that bad i guess. mattia thought to himself. he was walking down the stairs that were located inside of the palace. he walked down keeping his eyes relaxed.
so that's the prince. he thought. the said boy had brown fluffy hair, dark brown eyes, and his skin was kinda like, the color of caramel. he wore a fitting white "princely" outfit. he didn't even know what to call it.
walking down the stairs, mattia glanced at alvaro, the butler, who was carefully examining princess kai. alvaro then raised an eyebrow, and looking away.
a/n: alright please please please don't attack me, i'm so sorry for not updating evryday like i said i would. between hw, how long i wanted to make this chapter, and my i
