_________ Once we reached a door he opens it and leads me inside, I think this it the point where I start to feel nervous. "What do you think gives you the authority to speak to me like that?" He asks sternly as I sit across from him. God why is he such a dick, but he's so hot it's not fair, but I wonder how that good that dick is, oh my god Madyline snap out of it. God. "It's not authority, sir, with all do respect I just didn't appreciate being talked to that way," I state back, he slams his fist on the table pissed as ever. "Do you think I care? Hm? You work for me and will do as I say," he yells that last part and makes the baby start crying, "Way to go asshat you made him start crying," I say, as I take Thomas out of wrap thingy and start rocking him as he quiets down. I probably shouldn't have said that to him but he was getting on my nerves. I notice how quiet it is and I peer up, seeing how he's already looking at me in fascination, "How are you doing that?" He asks, more quietly now. As Thomas starts falling asleep I put him back in the wrap and look at Mr. Kole. "Doing what? Calming him down? It's not that hard." I state the obvious. "No it's just that all his other nannies couldn't do that, he would cry and scream on end until they eventually quit, I noticed it in the interview too, when he was crying," his face has softened a lot and is genuinely confused, "I'm not really sure, to be honest sir, I just do what any other person would do?" I question, not knowing how to answer, I peer around and notice his hand is bleeding from when he punched the desk. I grab my first aid kit from my purse and walk towards him. He gives me a questionable glance, "What are you doing?" He asks sternly, " Your hand is bleeding," I say as I need down in front of him, making sure not to hit Thomas's head. I take out my antiseptic and pour it in his hand, "This might sting," I say and he grimaced pulling his hand back, "Ow what the fu-," he starts yelling but I cut him off by putting my hand on his mouth. "Shut up," I whisper yell, "I just got him to go back to sleep and I don't need your loud ass crying to wake him up again, now stop being such a baby and give me your damn hand," I say taking my hand off his mouth and continuing what I was doing. He only glares at me and squirms under me while I'm bandaging him up. Once I'm done he looks at me and says, "You should be fired by now," "Oh yea? Then why aren't I?" I dare. He starts flexing his fingers but fails miserably and stays quite. Which makes me surprised to say the least because I figured he would be blowing my head off right now. "Stop doing that," I say pointing at his hand and straightening it out and paying it down on the desk, "You need to get it checked out and if you keep moving it around like that it might worsen the damage," I pick up all my stuff and start to head back to my seat when he grabs my wrist, I flinch and pull back, "Shit I'm sorry I didn't mean to grab you like that, but thank you for fixing my hand and I'm sorry for yelling at you, I shouldn't have," he states, an apologetic look on his face. "Yea whatever it's fine, just don't grab me like that again and don't be such a dick, I won't tolerate it and seeing as you need me more than I need you I won't be afraid to say something," I state. "I've got work to do and so do you, I'll see you later Mr. Kole," and without waiting for a response I shut the door and go down to the car.
After what seems like eternity we pull into a driveway and the house in front of me is jaw dropping.

He lives here? This could fit like 100 of my apartments. Damn. I thank the driver and head into the house.
Once I walk in my jaw is literally to the floor again. This place is so gorgeous. I make my way to the kitchen where I see a note and somethings to do. I put Tommy down into a play pin and begin the list. Haha yes I did give him a nick name, isn't it cute? I hope Mr. Kole doesn't mind. After I'm finished I settle down on the couch and check on Tommy, still fast asleep in the crib, he sure does sleep a lot, I wonder if I should wake him up, oh well I'm sure he'll be fine. I put on some Netflix and a couple minutes in I'm drifting asleep, only to be awaken by Tommy's cries. I settle him down and lie him down on my chest while I begin drifting into sleep again.
Mr. Koles pov
I feel like such a jerk, I shouldn't have yelled at her the way I did. But damn did she put in place. I have never had an employee talk to me that way and still have a job. She has some balls, I give her that. I try to finish up my work but she won't leave my mind. The minute she walked into the room with the two way glass I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, she's beyond gorgeous. Her blue eyes are captivating, especially when she was as mad as she was earlier, they were filled with rage and it was the hottest thing I ever seen. And the way she moves her hips when she walks, oh lord help me now. Knowing I'm not gonna be able to focus any longer on my work, I call my driver to take me home.
I walk into my house and I'm exhausted, and it's only 9:30. I hear some noise playing and I walk into the living room. On the couch is by far the cutest thing I've ever seen. Madyline is laying with Thomas and both are fast asleep. I pull my phone out and snap a quick photo. So precious. I pick Thomas up and put him in his room. Coming down stairs I hear Madyline talking, is she awake? "No stop, leave me alone," she's fidgeting on the couch and I think she's having a nightmare. I call out her name hoping to wake her up, "Madyline, hey wake up," I shake her lightly, she gasps and sits straight up tears pooling in her eyes, she looks around frantically until her eyes land on me. "Are you okay?" I ask, she starts crying and mumbling things I don't understand. "Shush hey it's okay," I rub her arm trying to comfort her, not really knowing what to do. She suddenly jumps into my lap and hands around my neck and her head nuzzling the side of my head. "I had," she begins sniffling but then beings again, "I had a bad nightmare, of the night that I," she hiccups and brings her head out from my face and looks at me. "That I got harassed, and I know you heard it because I can tell two way glass easily but, they've never been this bad before and I'm probably making a fool of myself," she start rambling but I put my finger on her lip. "It's okay Madyline, what can I do to help you?" I know exactly what happened, I saw it on her file and it hurt my heart to see, it's a terrible thing to happen. "Can you just hold me please? Until I fall asleep again? I normally had my older brother help me fall asleep but he's in Arizona," she says. I nod my head and lay us down on the couch. Her head is on my chest and her legs in between mine. After a while I hear her breath slow down and as well as her, I fall into a dreamless sleep.
