How cheerfully he seems to grin.

How he bloodies her face is at her lip.

How broken her jaw when he smashes her against the sink.

How he paws at her throat and holds on tight.

How she struggles and whimpers and begs him to stop

How sight fades from her eyes and feeling in her knees.

How he pulls her hair and scratches her face.

How his breath smells before he breaks her nose.

How he tells her that she is worthless and doesn't know her place.

How she does not argue as she knows he was right.

How he bruises and batters her body as she lay beneath him

How cold and comforting the bathroom tile feels on her face

How none of this could never be told from her point of view.

How neatly spread his claws.
