Decisions

A million thoughts swarmed Emma's head as she just processed what uncle Arthur just said.
"What does this mean?" she managed to get out.

"Well your going to write back saying you'll agree, right?" Julian asked colour coming back into his face.

"Well there's other stuff to be discussed here-" Arthur was cut off by Diana.

"Maybe we should discuss this privately with Helen?"

"What! I'm his brother as well!" Jules sounded very angry so Emma moved beside him and put her hand on his shoulder, he visibly relaxed.

"Yes okay we can talk in private and then you will be told of our decision." Arthur stated calmly.

Emma was trying to calm down Jules who was pacing back and forth outside the library Emma had suggested to try and listen in but Jules refused saying "As much as I hate it, they have to discuss this without us listening in." Emma had silently cursed Jules, who always abided rules no matter what the circumstance.
Emma was getting bored they've been waited outside the library for over 20 minutes.
"Can't we just walk in?" She asked in a bored tone, Julian very smartly ignored this and went on staring ahead at the grand library doors.
He stopped pacing abruptly and spoke in a soft quiet voice
"Em?"
"Mmm" Emma's eyes were closed
"Thanks"
"For what?" One eye peeked open to look at her parabatai
"For sticking with me through all this"
Emma sat up fully aware that they were having a serious conversation
"We're parabatai, I have no choice but to stick with you" She laughed half heartedly "besides we're war orphans remember?"
Jules opened his mouth to reply but just then the library doors opened startling the pair of shadowhunters.
"We have come to a decision" stated uncle Arthur
"And that is" Emma was exhausted and she was getting rather snappy.
Julian shot her a warning look, she immediately quieted down.
"We really want Mark back and we think it would be best for him and us, if we agree with whoever sent this message, and not tell the clave" Uncle Arthur began "but you's must understand this is going against everything that the clave has ever taught shadowhunters"
"And" butted in Diana "us five are the only ones to know about this"
"You mustn't tell anybody not even the twins or Cristina, this could get us in serious trouble from the clave and we will be the only ones in trouble. But if any of you's don't want to be apart of this than leave now"
Emma glanced at the four other shadowhunters around her, nobody was moving although Helen looked like she would faint any minute,
"Are you alright Helen?" Emma asked,
"What me? I'm fine" a rather pale looking Helen replied
"Helen...."
"Oh alright,I of course want my brother back and I'll do anything to get him but, I seriously can't tell Aline?"
"Helen this is strictly between us, besides Aline's mother is the cosul it wouldn't be fair to Aline to keep it from her" said uncle Arthur

I got my friend this book and it looks awesome and I want to read it but than the spine will be wrecked and she'll know :(
