The Vytal Festival was currently being set up. The old shopkeeper was on a ladder putting up a banner that said "welcome to Vale."
Weiss: Ooo! The Vytal Festival! I can't wait!
Atom: Well, you seem awfully chipper today.
Weiss: Well, that's because of two things.
Atom: Oh yeah, what are they?
Weiss: Well one is because of the festival! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh, so much planning goes into it!
Yang: You sure make something exciting sound boring.
Weiss: Quiet you!
Ruby: What's the second?
Weiss looks over at Atom and grabs his left arm.
Weiss: Well, the second one is right here.
Ruby grabs his other arm and smiles. They then drag him towards the docks. He looks over at Blake and Yang.
Atom: *Tear drop* help.
The two of them smile and shook their heads. They then arrived at the docks. The two girls were still on his arms.
Atom: Can I ask why you dragged me all the way to the docks?
Weiss: We're here to greet the students from Vacuo.
Blake: She wants to spy on them so we can have an upper hand.
Atom: That's... not a bad idea actually.
Weiss smiles in accomplishment. Atom looked over and saw a crime scene.
Atom: Woah.
Atom ran towards the detectives.
Atom: Exscuse me sirs, but can you tell me what happened here?
D1: Another dust robbery. They take all if the dust and leave the money.
Atom: Sounds like Roman, but why does he need this much dust.
Atom whispered to himself.
D2: Could be the white fang. What do you think?
D1: I think we don't get payed enough.
Atom: Really, money is all that you care about? Idiots.
Weiss: The White Fang what an awful bunch of degenerates.
Atom: Uh-oh.
Blake: What's your problem?
Weiss: My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane.
Atom: Weiss, calm down. Sorry you three but me and Weiss need to have a little chat.
Atom pulls Weiss away, ear shot from the others.
Atom: Weiss, deep breaths.
She took a couple of deep breaths and look at Atom.
Weiss: Sorry Atom.
Atom: It's alright, I know how you feel. I know your past was hard. Your dad coming home red in anger because some shipments got stolen. He pinned it on you, didn't he?
She nodded her head and looked down. Atom hugged her as she hugged back. They walked back to the group.
?: Hey! Stop that Faunus!
A blonde monkey Faunus tied his tail to a pole and hung upside down.
?: You no good stow away.
Monkey: Hey, a no good stow away would've been caught. I'm a great stow away.
