Honesty

(A/N I was listening to his cover of honesty, so why not? And this one-shot is happening during YGTB)

Chaeyoung's P.O.V.

Being a trainee is hard, lalo na if YG is trusting you to be his "dark horse". He would always give harsh words to you, and he always says that let all of those harsh words be a motivation, pero sometimes it also makes me cry. Imagine he would say, "You're not good enough" or "She's/he's better than you", I mean who wouldn't get hurt because of that?
Me and my best friend, Yedam is suffering because of it, yes he isn't a dark horse kasi dati na siyan magaling but I think there are some things he didn't share with me. Luckily he's joining a survival show called YG Treasure box, and he's unsurprisingly doing great.
I just hope he's not keeping anything from me.
*Ring ring* I picked up the call and didn't bother to read who was calling.

"Yeoboseyo? Chaeyoung speaking,"

"C-chaeyoung-ah"

"Yedam?! What happened ?!"

"I can't anymore, ang sakit na di ko na kaya. I want to give up"

"Give up on what Yedam?"

"On being a trainee, ang tagal ko na nagtratraine pero di pa ako nag dedebut"

"Yedam-ah you're on a survival show, and knowing you for sure after the show, you'll surely debut. Tiwala lang Yedam, kaya mo yan"

"*hiccup* Chayeong-ah c-can I be honest with you?"

"Of course Yedam, in our friendship, honesty is very important."

" I'm only known as YG's golden card, not as Yedam, and it hurts a lot. And they expect so much from me, and I'm afraid if I don't do my best everyone will h-hate me"

"Yedam no one can hate someone like you." I replied to him, "I'm really worried Yedam-ah"

"Chayeong, can we meet? Please, I need s-someone right now"

"Of course, where are you"

"The usual practice room. Where there are instruments"

"Okay, I'll be there I'll bring snacks on the way. I'll be there in 20"

"Okay. Please hurry"
