I felt the cold, dry breeze brush past my face. I didn't realise that Korea would be so cold in these months. But it's a small inconvenience compared to what I've gone through in the past.
I stood near the entry, sipping a hot chocolate during the break. It's a good thing I worked in this cafe.
I was snapped out of my daze by my colleague's voice. I finished the last of my drink and rushed to the counter. The bells rang cheerfully whenever the door was opened.
The customers were usually kpop trainees. Today was no exception. I saw a large group of kpop trainees walk in. A blonde man made his way to the counter to order.
"Let's see, hmm....I want six mocha and four chocolate pastries. Fast." I bowed and went to the kitchen to repeat the order.
Everyday, my work would be the same. Well, it was pretty stressful. But atleast I got enough money to pay my rent. Even though my apartment was uncomfortably small, it was better than sleeping under the stars.
After a long day of work, my shift ended at 8. As I couldn't afford a cab, I had to go home by walk.
It was dark and cold, but it had a strange aura of calmness to it. It was oddly comforting. After 45 minutes of walking, I finally reached home.
I was really exhausted, and plunged down onto my armchair. I closed my eyes and let out a long sigh. After a minute of rest, I opened my eyes.
The apartment was small, but most of the walls were covered with posters of K-pop idols. I'd give anything to become like them.
I got up to make myself a cup of coffee , as I was waiting for the milk to get heated , I switched on my phone .
It started flooding with notifications , but one mail notification caught my eye . It was from Loen entertainment regarding the online audition .
