Arendelle
Anna's POV
This morning I was woken up by the sound of Olaf shoving his carrot (nose) into my door.
"OW!!" He screeched. I shot up out of my bed.
"Mmfniflleskifleasniffle... It's too early for this." I wiped the drool from my face and brushed my hair. I was in fact a hot mess.
I made sure Olaf was ok and then I went to check up on Kristoff. He was in his shed with Sven, chomping on a carrot, as usual.
I gathered up the gang and then we all waltzed on over to the dining hall. On the way I passed the hallway with our family portraits.
I missed Elsa. I hadn't seen her since my wedding. At least she was in my wedding picture, I thought.
When I paused to look at the photo, everyone else stopped and looked at me.
"What?" I said calmly, "I'm ok."
Kristoff looked at me skeptically. He always wants to make sure I'm ok. And I don't blame him.
Ever since what happened five years ago we've all been looking out for each other.
Then I motioned for everyone to keep walking.
Once we all got our food we started talking about Elsa and we all wondered how she was doing. Then I felt someone yell "Anna!" and then grab me in a huge hug from behind.
I turned to see Elsa in her beautiful ice clothing. Then I grabbed her in a hug. I started crying and then Olaf and Kristoff joined the reunion.
"Elsa! What are you doing here? I thought you- SNIFFLE- had to keep taking care of the forest!" I knew I should just be happy that she was there but she always said she couldn't come to Arendelle because she had to watch over the enchanted forest.
"I came to see you! Actually, can we talk in private?" she said nervously. I could see that she was trying to hold back worry, but I could still tell something was up. I started to worry.
"S-sure. Is everything ok?" I was trying to be as confident as I could so she could see that I wasn't panicking, but I still stuttered.
She pulled me over to the side and said that she had talked to our mother. Of course I had freaked out.
I asked what she said and Elsa explained to me this huge long story and the entire time Kristoff was watching us from our table, concerned.
When Elsa finished the story my mouth was wide open.
"WHAT!? I yelled. I had so much to think about now. Me and Kristoff were planning on having a baby soon, I'm the queen of Arendelle, and now I find out, when I'm 23, THAT I HAVE POWERS?! How would I not have known? I've lived over two decades and I already have a family.
"That's... fine. That's totally fine." I stated.
"Anna do you understand that you have some sort of powers?!" Elsa's voice was rising with fear and I was getting antsy and squeamish.
"I understand full well but I still have so many questions." Which was totally true by the way.
"Then you don't understand at all. Mother said you threw a ball of fire a the wall IN YOUR SLEEP! Then she said that you have the power of fire and the light-" I interrupted her.
"Then we are complete opposites. And fire melts ice."
"That's true, you have a valid point, but what I don't get is how you have had powers all these years and never knew about it. My theory is that when I struck you accidentally when we were kids somehow blocked your fire because I had froze you." Elsa explained.
"That makes total sense." I said. As we finished discussing all of this, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven came over and Elsa explained everything again.
"Woah." Kristoff said in awe, "So you've had powers this entire time and haven't known?!"
"Um, yes that pretty much sums it up." I finally realized the danger this could cause in the future if I didn't discover more. I need to find the truth and fast.
❄️🔥~ Hello! I hope quarantine has been ok and you all are enjoying my story! I haven't posted in awhile because I've been busy with a concussion, a new puppy, and therapy (for my concussion). This chapter is a little shorter than I would like but I think I might change my posting schedule to every 2-5 days. Enjoy the story!
