The Audition

"Nina, I'm going to throw up ugh"

I breathed out as my nerves were showing.
"Youre going to do great, I know it dont be nervous"
Responded Nina as we practiced in the waiting room.

Soon after we were called to get reviewed.

" We can do this, fighting!"
We said before entering jyp's waiting room.

Soon after Nina got called in.
I laughed quietly as she knocked on the door loudly. But the laughter soon ended as the reality sunk in and i realized I was next.
My nerves were soon getting the best of me but I couldnt screw my only chance to fulfill my dreams. Instead I distracted myself with the strings of my sweatpants.

"Yashida xiaoyang"

My head instantly shot up as i stopped practicing the steps. I quickly walked up to the door after Nina exited.
As i opened the door all eyes went to me I bowed at each and every one of the staff including jyp as I stood in the center.

"Hello, My names Yashida Xiaoyang and I hope to impress you with my abilities!"
I said in a cheerful tone.

"Would you mind singing for me?"
Jyp asked as i shook my head and responded with a
"Sure"
Right after i bowed to the staff and the music started it was 'You know better' by Hyolyn

I tried to put as much emotion as I could and pronounce the words correctly.

I soon saw he had a big smile on his face, and that filled me up with confidence.

"Could you dance for me?"
He asked

"Yes"
I responded while nodding my head. I bowed at the staff again for them to turn on the music. This time it was Orange Caramel's 'Catallena'.

As I was dancing I saw jyp laughing as I did the moves.
I said "thankyou" as I bowed.

"I want to tell you something, I believe you have a certain aura that is cheerful and graceful"
Jyp stated

"Thank you" I responded

"But I think you would have to work on your dancing, I feel that you could be better." He said as he cut me off.

"Ok I understand" I responded

"But, I think if you improve you could be a star." He said with a bright smile.

"I will,I will try my best." I stated

"Come here." He said with sincere eyes

The moment I heard those words I started tearing but I couldnt let myself ugly cry right now so I walked up to him and he put the Nizi Pendant around my neck.

"Thank you!"
As I kept bowing walking towards the door.

Once I exited I was tackled to the ground by an emotional Nina.
"We did it!" We said as we hugged on the floor.
